Chapter: 2.
"Lacey Cascade-Anne Carter. What in god's name where you thinking." My mother yells as I walk in to the gleaming clean kitchen that belongs to the Nixons."I'm sorry." I say bowing my head slightly."Seth Tate Nixon. You are kidding me right?" Seth's Mom, Trina, says as Seth walks in behind me. Seth's worried glance meets my own as we give each other a good luck nod.Bea tugs open the fridge and pulls out the orange juice, pouring herself a large glass before making her way to where the father's are sat. Watching the lecture, ready to jump in at any moment if things get out of hand."You should know better. I did not raise, a smartass, disrespectful brat. Did I?" My mom yells her face red, spit practically flying out of her mouth.Overreacting much."No mom." I reply quietly ignoring the slurs of angry words and blame threatening to pour out of my mouth.

Chapter: 1.
"So what do you think Lacey?" Bea asks me. Her blonde hair bouncing in her soft curls. Her electric blue eyes searching my expression as we make our way in to the aura of B.O, greasy food and gorilla like behaviours. Otherwise known as the cafeteria."The sexual tension between you two is insane. Is he coming to your party on friday?" I ask with a small laugh. Sliding a salad on to my worn tray, as well as a crisp apple and a bottle of water."Yep." Bea says her lips tugging in to a small grin. While she reaches for a steaming carton of mac and cheese."Look Lace, I know you want to have sex with me. But you don't need to tell my sister about our sexual tension." Seth, Bianca's annoying as fuck older brother, says from behind us as he slides a mac and cheese and salad on to his own tray."Luckily for me. There's nothing to tell. And you have a girlfriend you shouldn't be having 'sexual tension' with anyone else
