The Immortality Shop
In the middle of a small town, tucked away in a quiet corner between two buildings, there is a shop that one can visit to learn the secrets of the resident immortal who has carved out a small place of her own, over the course of decades.
In her little shop, she sells the secrets to immortality to those who will first listen to her stories and heed her warnings.
Once all is done and she has said her piece, the listener will be given the choice of whether they would prefer to be immortal, or if they would rather live out the course of their regular lives.
It would be prudent to mention that, under certain circumstances, if she deems necessary so, she is not above ending the lives of her customers and turning them into her stories for another day.

Chapter: September Chapter 1: Boy Meets GirlIt had been a warm day, the sun out and shining with only a few white cotton clouds drifting through the sky on a light breeze. To the man, who had left his home four years and had never looked back, it was a lazy day.It was a day where all you wanted to do was sit back, lie around, and do nothing, just letting the calm atmosphere wash over you as you slept the day away.Unfortunately for him however, he really did have something to do that day.He held out a crudely drawn map in his right hand, trying to decipher where he should go, following the arrows that had been drawn on by the nice post office lady half an hour earlier, when he had asked for directions for The Immortality Shop.So far, he had managed to walk past a park, a school, and a department store, but had yet to find the one specific shop that he was looking for, increasingly finding himself in more residential neighbourhoods, until it felt as if he had accidently stepped through a p

Chapter: November Chapter 223: The Sheet TidesEmmet, in the throes of the days that ran past him, shifting about with nothing happening, was only sure of several constants.First, he loved Jasper and knew now that he had done one of the worst things imaginable to the man.He shouldn't have tried to isolate him.He shouldn't have obsessed over all the communications in and out of the facility and he shouldn't have tried to exploit the man, using his mind and memories as a gateway to pull Emmet out of his own world, not at all caring for how Jasper felt about their relationship and understanding, that as the technical owner of the time machine, Jasper was entitled to use the device as he saw fit and that Emmet had no other choice but to accept whatever Jasper chose to do.He was not entitled to knowledge of the future. He was not entitled to a fantastical adventure with the time traveller. He was not entitled to the knowledge that Jasper brought with him.And now that he knew that,

Chapter: November Chapter 222: Seizures to SleepLila was tired. She was very, very tired.Emmet was put in one of the guest rooms that had been given to her, in the flat above the cafe that she was now living in, and where she would now live for the rest of her life.It was strange, living in a place just as silent no matter if there was one or two people living there. She hadn't been particularly planning to burst into tears or to have ended up blowing up in that deplorable man's face, but at the same time, she couldn't exactly say that it wasn't to her own benefit. He deserved the pain that he was currently suffering and if there was any other way for him to finally learn from his mistakes, then she would probably use that method. It was a shame then that there was only one, pre - determined timeline then, depriving the man of any other kind of learning. She knew that he hated her with a passion and would much rather leave her to die bleeding out in a ditch than actually help her

Chapter: November Chapter 221: Calming the WavesGreen_One had watched his siblings go through their periods of sadness, anxiety, and fear, and knew how to comfort them as they temporarily isolated themselves, as they screamed out in anger and shame, and how they had burst into tears, sobbing into his work shirts and creating stains that would barely be dry by the time he was able to finish consolling them, bringing them to school, and then making his way to work.He was far too used to consolling all the others around him, holding his mother close until the final moments where he was forced to leave the room as the doctors injected her with the necessary coktail to end her suffering, once and for all, easing his own as well to see her finally smile for the first time in months, on her deathbed, no longer pained by each breath she took and the weakness of each and every single one of her joints and muscles.Green_One had been the one to raise both of his siblings, and he had witnessed them grow from wide eyed idealis

Chapter: November Chapter 220: At the TablesThe two of them had separated when the others had arrived and they were now to work on their pieces.Gretel had moved back to Green_One's table, back to where she had first sat, and the two of them continued on in a slightly awkward silence that had been present back before when they had first begun working together, back when they both had arrived here on their first day.The only real difference was that they were no longer speaking to each other, or were particularly willing to speak to each other.Gretel knew that she was being a coward by not saying anything. She knew that she could be muttering on about her own sheets that she was now working on, asking Green_One questions about his own work, something new and but still extremely maths heavy as the page was covered in equations from beginning to end, but at the same time, something inside of her hesitated. She swallowed down nothing, her throat dry and a headache on the verge of forming.Woul

Chapter: November Chapter 219: Holding Each Other CloseGretel kept up her grip around Green_One, continuing to stand there and hug him as he didn't respond to her, his arms still at his side as she continued to whisper apologies into his chest and hold onto him. After a while, after a period of time that felt to Gretel as if simultaneously too long and yet not quite long enough, a loose pair of arms came up to wrap around her as well. Both of them stood together, within the grey light, for a long, long time, holding each other close and nearby. When the hour was over and when all the others came, Gretel knew that she was to separate from him, walk back to the tables, pick up her pencil and then begin working once more on the time machine that was blatantly immoral to create."Thank you, thank you, thank you," Gretel whispered to Green_One."I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry," Gretel whispered to him."Thank you, I'm sorry, Thank you, I'm sorry," she continued on whispering to him.He had lo

The Lie of Titan
Zen, born in the year 2442, has gone through life mostly alone, in a city surrounded by a great dome and filled with fans, the air outside too toxic and polluted to breathe.
His one dream is to escape planet Earth and reach planet Kepler-B, the only possible planet where he can possibly have a chance to of breathing fresh air, the sun beating down on him, and having the opportunity to experience nature, even if for one day, fulfilling the final wishes of his Grandmother.
But to do that, he needed money, enough to buy himself a ticket, enough to buy himself supplies for the journey, and enough to hopefully pay off anybody who would want to harm him.
He would do anything for the sake of that one, tiny wish.
Anything.

Chapter: Into the ScrapyardZen was quick and crawled back into the scrapyward through the hole that had been cut into the fence a while ago. He was small enough to fit into it, and he hadn't even managed to stumble even a step inside, until he was pulled, by the scruff of his neck, into the shadows. He immediately lashed out and managed to hit a tin can, until he heard giggling. He struggled to pull off the hood that was obscuring his vision, but as soon as he did, face a bright red, he was hit with the sound of giggles.Behind him, he saw his best friend, Axel, and his brother, the one who had decided to grab him and scare him, like a bully. He aimed a punch at Axel's brother, his too short arms swinging about uselessly, which only made Axel laugh even harder. They had made a little den, while Zen was busy. A tarp was draped over the top, with stacks of electronics acting as supports for the walls, with a metal pole sticking out of the ground acting as one corner. Zen hadn't seen t

Chapter: Stealing Bread"Oi! You brat! Get back here with that bread!"Zen only ran faster away from the policeman that screamed after him. Darting between the knees of the crowd all around him and rollinng through the dust clouds that everybody's feet kicked up as they walked, Zen made sure that he kept listening to the heavy, metal clunking thuds of the policeman's mechanical suit that helped him run faster than all the other normal people.Zen found it hard getting through the large crowd at the dole, watching where each and every adult was walking, and trying to keep out of their way so he wouldn't crash into them.He could hear the police officer's loud, thundering steps as he came after Zen, closer and closer to catching him and dragging him to the tall, onimous police station where he had seen lots of children go in, but no children come out.Above him, Zen could also hear the whirring of the police drones that every officer had to help them. They could s
