Chapter: Five!
I continued to follow their car and trust me when I say that I wasn't having fun at all. It had been almost 20 minutes since we had left the shop and we still hadn't gotten to the restaurant. ‘Where the hell were we going to?’ Then we approached a tall building and the car ahead of me leaned towards the building into their parking spots.I followed them and parked my car not too far off. I came out of my car and looked at the building. It was huge, but what did I expect? My in-laws are one of the richest families in the country. Looking ahead I saw Doris excitedly looking around and I knew she was looking for Mathieu. I also unconsciously looked around and I spotted him.He smiled when he saw Doris approaching him and the doors didn't wait to jump into his arms with a squeal. She quickly got down from him though because she was scared his parents would see. There was a funny history between Doris and Mat

Chapter: Four!
A beeping noise woke me up and I realized that we had all dozed off. I looked around and saw that the girls sleeping in funny poses. I laughed a little and took a picture. They would kill me if they ever found out. I checked my phone and saw a total of ten missed calls. Two from her dad, one from Doris, and the rest from Mrs. Courtney. She sighed. She was in deep trouble now.I could feel her anger through those missed calls, and I am not kidding. I wondered what her face would look like when I got home. Then realization dawned on me. I wasn’t supposed to be home now, I was meant to be at the bridal shop. Today was the day Doris shopped for her dresses. Checking the time, I saw I was late, like EXTREMELY late.

Chapter: Three!
It didn't take too long to reach their apartment. They lived together, which made easier to reach there. We had been best friends since high school. Funny enough, we started as enemies. Well, I and Anna. At that time, we shared one mutual friend, Carly. I was the shy type and had thought her character was bitchy and rude at first, and she thought I was a prude. Carla had always protected me due to me getting bullied at first, but she had to leave for a while to visit relatives so the bullying resumed and it wasn’t until Anna had caught them in the act and she saved me.That didn’t mean we became close, in fact she probably did it out of common morality, but I was grateful. What really brough us together was when she had an accident and ended in

Chapter: Two!
While I wallow in internal misery, everyone else is having the best time of their life, quizzing Doris about what she would do after marriage, talking about kids, and so on. I rose my brow. ‘Kids? Wow, they’re moving fast.’ It seems they have all forgotten about me, the one extra family member.Of course, I didn't really mind. I would just make the whole table awkward anyway. There was nothing interesting about my life. I was as normal as they come. I had a 9-5 job as a manager of a business firm. I wasn't doing badly overall. I did have a hobby of being a florist. Yes, I was a part-time florist. My mother was a florist. She even had a shop. She taught me the true meaning of flowers. She would al

Chapter: One!
The sound of a slap rang in the hall. “Get out.”I held my face and looked at her with pleading eyes. All around me was silent. No one said anything, not even my father. He looked at me with hate now, which hurt me so much more. Then a handsome face came into view. He steps in in front of me with eyes full of pure hate. The man I loved. He pointed at the door. “Get out now.”I shook my head. I was full on crying now. The tears blurring my vision. I felt a push and fell from it.“GET OUT NOW!” he screamed. I got up quickly and ran out the door, into the pouring rain. I crouched down not caring anymore if the drops fell on me and cried. “I didn't do
