Chapter: 2: Eldritch Palace
Ian was standing inside white space stretched to infinity with no boundaries. A stone gate was standing tall in front of him. This gate was the only thing that had some kind of materialistic depth to it. The room was filled with immaterial objects such as ideas, concepts, and dreams. The more Ian looked around him, the more mystified he got. He never imagined that ideas and dreams have a sensory cue associated with them."So, this is the afterlife?" Ian looked around in bewilderment.A giant eye with strangely similar to a human eye abruptly squirmed out from the stone gate, followed by an echo of a dull and grim voice."Yes.""Shit!" Ian mumbled in the grievance. "I guess I had it coming!""From that, I assume you already know the situation you are in?" The gate replied impassively."Ian Fletcher, your soul is stagnant and can not pass through the gate of eternal rest!""What do you mean by can not pass?" Ian called for an explanation.

Chapter: 1: The End
'Both the fingers of that broken clock are pointing at 1 moreover right now, I am being held at gunpoint!'¤I would have told you my name, but it seems unnecessary now! I am standing in the middle of this miserable room inside this abandoned building. Layers of dirt and soot, broken shards of wood and glass are scattered all over the broken floor. I guess I ran too far this time, apparently not far enough. For the last 7 years of my life, I have done nothing but run from the cops. Well, these are some added inconveniences to the position of a wanted criminal with 149 felony charges, including murder and substance abuse. In short, my entire life, I have been nothing but a murderer, addict, and scum.Amusing thing is, I got knocked into this kind of life by the people whose faces I don't even remember. Not that I am looking for revenge because there is no point in blaming others for my actions, but I remember it all started after I

Humans believed that they were alone in the universe since they never found any trace of others. But when they were finally ready to branch out in the outer-space and had finished colonization of their first planet in outer space. Suddenly they found out that there were many more species with intelligence. A higher cosmic sentient species called themselves "Deities" presented them with a cosmic covenant named 'The Treaty of Cosmic Stability' and A threat of the annihilation of the entire Humankind if they failed to sign the Treaty. For some unknown reason, humans signed and agreed with the treaty with no retaliation. Signing the treaty led humans to ascend one step further in their evolution and securing a gift of entry in the higher cosmic spectrum of the universe. But soon they found out that this gift was not a gift, but a beginning of a greater cosmic struggle. After being stuck at the bottom humans have discovered that deep fractures in space exist as portals to another realm with an entirely diverse and obscure ecosystem. Humans call it 'Akashik Glitches'. The worlds of Akashik Glitches are highly complex with mysterious beings, objects, and secrets waiting to be discovered. ## Warning: The main character curses a lot. This is entirely intentional, to give readers an idea that your mindset automatically shapes your language, which sometimes unintentionally becomes a habit. ##

Chapter: Don't Look Back
"Miss Jia, we have a problem!" Bonnie woke her up. "We need to go right now!""What? What happened?" Jia's facial expression turned grim. "Did some beast attacked?""We have no time to explain," Bonnie interjected and suggested to not waste any time. "Pack your bags, we need to leave this place..."Jia couldn't back her curiosity and bolted out of the tent and saw a strange scene, a pair of hideous legs that were pinned in the ground. They weren't dead and kept moving, twitching and convulsing violently. The hideous nature of the beast churned their stomach upside down. She almost puked after seeing the shape and appearance of the pair of legs, they were the very definition of gross. Though they looked like human legs, the green and red puss flowing out of stabbed feet told her it wasn't."WHAT THE HELL?" Jia turned at them. "What is all this?""Why haven't you packed yet, Miss Jia!" Frankie shouted and hinted to her not to waste time. "Just

Her looks were enough to get the undivided attention of many young ones nearby. This girl appeared to just 16 or 17 years old. A man approached her and shook hands with her."Hello, Miss Jia!" Bernard greeted her as she came out from the teleportation gate."I have already made the arrangements, please follow me!""Listen, Bernard ... I am not coming with you, just give me a map or something!" Jia had curiousness written all over her face. She kept gazing at nearby buildings. "I've already convinced my dad to cancel every arrangement regarding the bodyguards! I am going to explore this place alone now...""Hmm... Mister Liang never informed me anything about this!" Bernard looked at her with a smile. He wasn't that easy to fool. "Sorry Miss Jia, but we need to abide by the rules your father has set.""Tch, pest!" She clicked he

Chapter: Camping In Disguise
Inside an enormous villa, just below a massive chandelier, a gracious dining table was glimmering. Baskets were full of exquisite and rare fruits. Dishes, glasses, and plates arranged in such a gracious arrangement even the symmetry itself would blush. A person in a black blazer was standing beside the table. He appeared like a designated conductor of an orchestra, except he wasn't one. He kept looking at his watch until it vibrated. The next moment a bald man with a distinguishable gray beard and blue track-suit, who appeared to be in his 50s, came towards the dining table. The butler came close to the main-chair and graciously pulled it backward for this man."Good Morning Master Collins.""Morning! where is Jake?" He sat and tucked a napkin in his collar. "Call him.""Master Jake is still in his room, sir," The Butler informed his employer. "He and others will be here for breakfast soon."The bald person was no other but Jake's grandfather, Auth

Chapter: Rock Paper Scissors Slap
#Warning: Some sentences in this chapter are using an excessive amount of curse words. This is done to portray a certain amount of immaturity to the characters' behavior. I would appreciate your kind discretion. Have fun dear readers.#"How about we make a small bet?" Creed suggested casually."A bet..." Lucas asked, "What kind of bet?""You know... 'winner takes all' kind of bet," Creed shot a mocking scowl at them. "We can wager anything you want, and if I lose, I'll apologize to all of you and will also pay for everything I ate or drank here...""Sure, what are we betting on?" Arrogance was dripping from Jim's face."I don't want to make it complex for you clowns..." Creed smiled at them, and took a sip again, "Let's play rock, paper, and scissors.""Are you kidding me? That's like playtime for 2nd-grade children—" Nisha interrupted in the middle."shh... let me complete first..." Creed puts a finger on his lips

Chapter: Party
"You told her what?" Creed held Jake's collar."What are you angry for?" Jake looked the other way with a pompous grin, "I told her that a guy from the top-ranked team is my best friend."Creed's face turned red with anger. "Did you also tell her about my weak chakra saturation?""No, I didn't". Sweats appeared on his forehead like he was caught guilty."You bastard! You only told her half-truth," Creed asked her in a grumpy tone, "Why did you boast about me in front of her? ""Why shouldn't I boast about it?" Jake turned bashful this time. "I am really proud that my best friend is in the top-ranked team.""Fuck you! Don't try to fool me. I have known you for an entire...You intentionally pulled me into this by bragging without restraint, didn't you?""Come on dude, help your brother just this once. I really don't want to go to that party alone!""Shit!!" Creed couldn't reject anymore."... Okay fine!"Creed rubbed his fo
