Chapter: Chapter 4. Dinner Is Served
I walked down the stairs taking deep breaths, I could hear voices from the top of the stairs and I heard one that definitely sounds familiar. Now you know how it's like in movies, that you enter a hall and then everyone keeps shut and stares at you with glazed eyes full of admiration, dearest readers my case was the complete opposite. Chapter: Chapter 3.Dine with Me
Ilost focus since my trip to ma's house, been thinking about a lot of things the thought of marriage scared me more than the idea of it. I mean living with someone for the rest of your life is not a cake and tea party affair. Wedding preparations were taking a start this week, colours, theme and the likes, I always thought about this and imagined it differently about the colours of my wedding, shopping for gowns and the likes, now it feels like an assignment. I was not involved in the whole process it seemed as though mama was having a second wedding for herself cause she made sure to pick everything I had always thought champagne gold and Burgundy with a touch of silver would be my wedding colours now grey and black seem the most appealing to me in all honesty. My brother, on the other hand, made it his duty to constantly annoy me every morning by talking non stop about the wedding and how he is against it, I mean I get the point but there's literally nothing I can do about i

Chapter: Chapter 2
I am currently blinking my eyes sitting across from my parents on the Persian sofa, “it will be good hopefully” I blinked back not believing them half expecting this to be a joke," Baba I will not..." I start to say but dad had his stern face on, whenever he sets his face like that nothing can change what he wants to be done, he stood up abruptly” well I hope that was well understood, “ turning to me adjusting his glasses with his finger he says “ Zarah do tell me before you leave” he said and his home nurse who had been waiting behind the door took him upstairs to his room, Mah came to me immediately ” why did Baba do that?’ I asked her confused with tear filled eyes “ shh .. it's for the best” she cooed patting my back softly, I wanted to ask her best for me or you and baba, but I knew better than to ask I would only end up hurting myself more, so I sat still as she embraced me in a hug.I went upstairs to my room, everything looked the same the wallpaper was untouched

Lunch with Khadijah and her husband went very well. We were currently at the balcony facing my neighbors beautiful garden. We talked about school days, work and all. Yusuf said he was going for business trip to Dubai and Khadijah admitted she was tagging along while blushing I laughed at their cuteness "awwn" I awed, " She can't do a day without me" he said smirking while playfully touching his chest, Khadija laughed " oh
