Magic on the Run
How does a half-witch make a living on the run from her own coven?
Easy, she sells her potion-making skills to the humans that flock to her shop. I offer promises of an easy way out. Only there is NEVER an easy way out of anything and I'm about to learn that the hard way.
My name is Lia Sanchez, and I'm a rare half-witch-half-shifter. I can't shift without suffering terrible pain and I can't cast magic without risking my coven tracking me down. So, what's a girl to do?
Lay low and pretend you're human.
Only that's not working out so well, especially when I come home one night to find a Nightstalker – a deadly werewolf twisted by dark magic – waiting for me and I'm rescued by Aiden, one hot as hell wolf shifter who claims he was hired to protect me.
You see, witches are disappearing across the city without a trace and I'm one of the last to remain. So is my sister. With the help of Aiden and his packmates, Garret and Marcus, I need to find big Sis and get the hell out of dodge before the Nightstalkers make us disappear forever and I'm pretty sure my coven has something to do with it even if they won't admit it because we didn't exactly leave on good terms.
With Aiden and his pack at my side, I'll rescue big Sis, take out some Nightstalkers, and work out what the hell is going on. And if my ex-coven has anything to do with it, they'll pay for it big time because no one messes with the Sanchez sisters.

Chapter: Chapter 7 - Dust to DustAMELIAMy knuckles screamed in pain as I pounded on the door. “Sammi! Are you in there? Let me in! Please,” I begged. “If you’re there let me in... we have to get you out of here!”No one answered. What I’d always viewed as a safe haven stood empty and bereft of all warmth. The scent of cut paper and coffee grinds, the sounds of friendly chatter

Chapter: Chapter 5 -Punching BagAMELIAClearly, we made it back to the warehouse which means the Nightstalker’s weren’t, in fact, as insane as they appeared. I can’t say I wasn’t a little disappointed. This entire thing was getting me anxious and stressed and I’d love nothing more than to throw some fire in a few Nightstalker faces to help cool me off. Too bad.

Chapter: Chapter 4 - Oh Sister, Where art thou?AMELIAI breathed in the scent of the city, the smell of funnel cakes and fried chicken, wet leaves, and asphalt. The sounds of car horns honking, college students chattering about classes, professors, and kids they were crushing on as they walked by. There was a reason I loved living downtown from the University. The flourishing campus life was all around us - its energy was filled with the wild, vivid, ambitions of youth. Aiden kept pace beside me while Marc

Chapter: Chapter 3 - Which Way is Witch?AMELIAI had no idea how I was supposed to get any sleep with the scent of Aiden all around me. The warm knit blanket smelled of his chocolatey Moscato scent and a hint of something else, something warm and comforting and I realized that his mother, or someone close to him, must have knitted this blanket. I closed my eyes and breathed it in before snuggling down and wrapping it tighter around my neck, clenching it beneath my chin. It was comforting, to feel so
