The next day Maria and I were talking on the phone I told her everything about Dylan Gray and who he really was. But her overactive imagination and she kept on teasing me. Her hopes were very high and told me to consider myself lucky. Women die to spend a night with him and here I was 'so-called lucky' to be his wife. This was her view which was backed up by his lovers. Again that's what she thought. For me, it was a deal to be dealt with carefully. And as if he would have time for us I mean this. Seriously though it was still hard to imagine that how could he manage his business which was a kingdom and also his 'other' business.

That's how the rest of the day just passed away in drawing conclusions about him. In the night I replied to my emails. I had secured a job interview which was scheduled soon after the wedding. I was happy about the job interview but I found myself more distracted about tomorrow.

*Dear diary,

I am going to get married tomorrow. People say a day before your marriage you feel excited and happy and god knows whatnot. I don't feel like that may be because the situation is a bit different. However, I can't ignore the slight nervousness I am feeling. I wish I was a 10-year-old again. Things wouldn't be so twisted.*

..................................................

"Where is he?"

"I think he'll be on the way. The traffic must be bad." Ria said.

It was 10:15 in the morning we all were gathered in the court. I glanced at the judge and he just gave me a sympathetic look.

I moved towards the window and shifted the curtain and saw a swarm of reporters at the gate. The security had a tough time keeping them in control. Looked back and saw Miley in a panic state. Lucien was beside her consoling her but his face depicted anger. Edward, Selena, Clara were busy on their phones trying to reach him. David was busy distracting Robbie.

The judge came towards me and said.

"Only 10 minutes more. If he doesn't appear I'll have to move on to next." He warned me.

"Yes, I do understand that."

Enough is enough.

"Maria I am going outside for a while. I have to make some calls."

"Yeah come fast." Even she was worried.

I opened the door with some force and sat on the wooden seat. Suddenly I heard some footsteps and stumbling noises I whipped my head to the source.

What the hell?!

He was there stumbling and walking then again stumbling. His hand was over a blind man's shoulder. The man was slightly shorter than him trying to keep him straight cursing again and again. I rushed towards them.

"What happened to him? Why is he drunk in the morning?"

"I found this ass drunk in his penthouse. He was worse than he is now. I tried to sober him up he is just slightly drunk. I am Jason by the way."

Jason was this gorgeous looking man with deep blue eyes. He had an old cut at the border of his eyebrow but that didn't deter his looks. He still looked like a funny person.

"You have done too much already. I am Tessa."

"You look beautiful." Jason complimented me and grinned at me like a kid.

"Thanks. Just help me make him sit on the seat."

"Yeah sure."

We managed to make him sit on the wooden seat. Jason tried to make him sit straight but he slouched.

"What the fuck?!" Ria whisper yelled from behind. I turned around to see a very shocked Maria.

"Jason this is Maria. Maria, Jason." I introduced them to each other.

"Oh hey there." Jason drawled while checking her out.

"Hi." Maria blushed.

"Ria help me." I snapped at her.

"Oh yes. Okay, here this pill cures all sorts of hangovers. He'll be sober in a minute I bet you." Ria presented a small oval-shaped pill.

"Is this even legal?" I asked her.

"Yes, it is. This my secret to being sober the next morning even after heavy drinking."

"He doesn't usually get drunk but I think he might have opened that bottle finally." Jason murmured.

"What bottle?" I asked him while helping Dylan to gulp the pill.

"I had gone on a business trip and bought this bottle. The local chap warned me about it but I didn't pay attention to him. I gifted Dylan one of the bottles. I didn't know it was that strong." He explained.

I looked at him in slight shock and anger. Jason raised his hands and said.

"Hey, I didn't know he would open it today of all the days."

"He's sobering up," Maria informed us.

I crouched in front of Dylan and cupped his face in my hands.

"You okay?" I questioned.

"Yeah, I might be. My head hurts though." He frowned

"Okay listen you, stupid man. You and I are getting married today. When I had said cooperate with me I really meant it. So far you have been not and I didn't sign up for this. So man up get along with this or say goodbye to your company. Also, I wore my late mother's wedding dress I don't want to insult her today." He stared at me for a while and then spoke.

"Fine."

Jason helped him to get up but he pushed him aside. He stumbled a bit but started walking by himself.

We entered the courtroom and almost everyone relaxed when they saw us except for Lucien. He had a scowl over his face which scared me a bit. The process finally began.

"Sign here please." The judge pointed at the directory.

We both signed and exchanged our rings. The ring was a plain platinum band not too much and but perfect.

We got out of the courtroom and Jason suggested us to take the back gate as the front was barricaded. We agreed to that. Dylan was walking with Miley nodding in intervals while Miley was lecturing him. I really don't think so he was paying attention as he kept massaging his head.

"Your husband is such a pain in the ass." Maria joined me.

"You were worse," I replied.

"Oh so now you are defending him?"

"No, I am stating a fact."

She wiggled her eyebrows at me while I rolled my eyes at her. Our goodbyes session was interrupted by the sound of a car approaching us. A black Buggati Veyron 16.4 GSV stood in front of us and a man probably Dylan's driver got out of the car and handed him the keys.

"Thanks, Robert," Dylan said while taking the keys.

"You're welcome, sir."

Mia handed my small bag which I kept close to me. He gestured me to get inside while I simply stared at him thinking about how could he imagine to drive in such a condition. He must have read my mind when he said.

"I can drive. Just get inside."

Without any argument, I got inside the car while he took the driver's seat. I immediately buckled up and gazed out of the window. Robbie was not happy with me leaving him so I smiled to assure him I was fine. He smiled back.

The car zoomed through the city streets and I held on to the seat belt tightly due to the fear of being thrown away from the seat. After a while, the car suddenly stopped in front of a huge building named 'Terrania'. I literally jumped out of the car still clutching my bag at the side. He just marched ahead and I followed him. The valet greeted him but he didn't bother to reply. Glass doors opened and I almost slipped on the glossy floor in which one could look at their own reflection. He also ignored the receptionist and made his way to the elevator. The elevator man pressed the button 'P' and maybe I think we were headed to his penthouse. After some time the door of the elevator opened. Dylan turned right and I saw a designed door with the initials DG. He opened it revealing a very posh penthouse but it was all the grey black and steel. The only beautiful portion was the huge balcony which gave the city's view.

"Tessa."

"What?"

"Follow me please."

For the next 15 minutes, he guided me through his house. I think he had 5 bedrooms excluding his own kitchen, gym, office room, etc. I was pretty sure I would get lost. We were on the first floor of his penthouse. In the corridor, there were some paintings on the corridor walls which fascinated me.

"Tessa here's your room." He called out.

I went towards him and saw a beautiful furniture room with the same grey and white background. It also had a balcony which was in L shape. It looked edgy and I liked it.

"Rest of your stuff will arrive tomorrow morning. Till that you will have to bear."

"Yes I know I packed some important things with me."

"If you need anything I'll be in my room." I dare not venture there.

"Okay."

He went away and I entered my room. After an hour I was settled and removed my laptop kept it on the monstrous study table. I checked my emails and there were none today. I stared at my ring and thought about today's events.

*Dear diary,

Drunk fiance- delayed wedding- nauseous car ride -etc. Possibly the worst day ever.*

I crept to my bed and slept, tired by today.

He and I were in the same bed again. It was like deja-vu. I opened my eyes to see his beautiful face. But the space beside me was absolutely empty. I got up immediately the covers bunching at my waist. I scanned the whole room to get a sight of him but I couldn't see him anywhere. "Dylan." I wrapped the cover around me and got out of my bed. As soon as I stood up I fell back into the bed. I was too sore. The last night's events played in my head making me blush at the memories that it still tingled my body. Smiling I forced myself to get up to look around for him. Passing by the mirror I stopped. There were marks which were on my neck running down to my chest. As I touched them our night flashed once again before me. I swung open the bathroom doors and it was neat and cold. On the sink, I saw an open after-shave lotion. I picked it up and inhaled it.It was his. I kept the bottle back to its place. Dumping the sheet aside I walked

I turned back to see Dylan standing rigidly on a rock holding his coat from flying. His hair was swept and covering his face a little bit which he pushed back. The lights of the villa were the only source of light. His question had taken me off guard beside his presence. "No." I leveled with him. "What are you doing here?" "I just wanted to get away." He straightened his coat. "Are you cold?" Every word he spoke was taking me off guard. I had noticed a certain change in his behavior for the past 2-3 days. Even the slight change was a relief to me. He was behaving less rigid now. "No, I am not." I looked in front and very carefully sat down. Suddenly I was wrapped in a warm thick material which turned out to be Dylan's coat. "You were shivering." He whispered and sat beside me but at a safe distance. The coat was so warm comfortable that I snuggled in it. I looked towards him as he gazed out. I

Every cloud has a silver lining. My mother always repeated it to me. If I caught a cold or if there was trouble in school I would remember what she said. She would also say that somethings happen for our own good. I knew she said that when she couldn't explain somethings. These two things echoed to me when she and dad passed away and they didn't make any sense to me. They still don't. But that doesn't mean I wouldn't find the answer to my questions. She is not here to explain it to me. I had to find it out by myself. The workers were giving the last finishing touch to the hall. The back was blocked for any person to access the set up which was being constructed for the wedding. Doan really did it perfectly well. Everything that Selena had ordered was right on the platter. "Don't put those lights there. It's already enough." "But ma'am Selena ma'am told me to put them up." "I am her maid of honor. I decid

After talking to Spencer about my new project I also caught up with Maria. We talked for straight two hours. She was busy with Jason and this time it was serious. They both had confessed their love for each other. I teased Maria the whole time about it. During college, one night, she had swore that she would never fall in love. And now when I reminded her about it she didn't remember. We both knew she was joking. There was a week left for the wedding. The engagement party was in three days and then the wedding. Everything was ready. In the afternoon I found myself roaming in the backyard. Picturing the whole wedding. People talking and laughing, the band playing, Selena walking down the aisle. There were unknown happiness and satisfaction within me watching her marrying the love of her life. It's like in the movies how we desperately hope for the lovers to live happily ever after.I sat down on the grass thinking about other things being alone with myself. With

"David!" "I am sorry. What am I supposed to do?" "I can't." "Please. For Selena? Please." He took his hands in mine shaking them. He looked at me so desperately that I reconsidered. Still."No." "Can't you do this small thing for your brother?" "Sorry I am thinking of being the evil sister!" "Pretty Please?" "David." I was cut off by Dylan. He was all suited up leaving for office at the noon. It was unusual. "Selena was looking for you David." He said it in his usual cold rigid tone. He was glaring at David and at our entwined hands. Tightening his watch more and he fisted his hand. The veins popping out at this which made both of us gulp. "Are you alri-" "Now." David scuttled his way out looking scared and confused. He mouthed me 'please remember' at the end and ran up the stairs. We were l

"How'd you get that cut?" I glanced at my hand with which I held my spoon. Today the whole family was having breakfast together. It happened for the first time ever since we got here. Even Dylan was seated right beside me. When Selena asked that question he paused. "I uh. I ..broke a glass. I broke a glass and cut my hand while cleaning." "Is it deep, dear?" Clara asked her forehead creased. "No, it's just like a papercut not exactly but yeah..." And I shut up before I would fumble. "Okay. So how are the wedding preparations, Selena?" "Fine today I have to check out the wedding dress and the bridesmaids dress with Tessa." "Today?" "Yeah, today. You don't remember? We both made the schedule together Tess." "Right. Yes....umm.. I do remember." "You need to put reminders on your phone if you keep on forgetting stuff. I mean I am getting married in
