  • ALMOST NOT OVER YOU   CHAPTER 10: IS IT REALLY FOR REAL?

Life is bound with many surprises. Sometimes, those surprises are good to have—they make us happy and appreciate even the little things in life. Some are like a dream or much worst, a nightmare that we desperately wanted to wake up and forget everything. Every one of us has a fair share of these surprises. No one can escape from this reality. But no matter how those surprises affect us, it makes life even more exciting and beautiful. It may blow us out. But we just have to go with the flow no matter where life may take us.

  • ALMOST NOT OVER YOU   CHAPTER 9: COMPLICATIONS CAN SPICE UP THE GAME?

In life, we value honesty a lot especially when it comes to love. We appreciate people who are honest enough with their feelings. We admire them for being brave enough to express what they feel. We praise them for the courage to show their emotions. But sometimes, too much honesty with our feelings may lead to mishaps. Sometimes, the response is not always positive. It’s not always beneficial. Because sometimes, the love we give to them isn’t always appreciated. We can’t expect them to love us back the way we loved them. But despite those complications, we still continue to love them. We continue to give that kind of love because that’s the real essence of love&m

  • ALMOST NOT OVER YOU   CHAPTER 8: CONFESSION—THE ONLY WAY OUT

Confession by definition is the act of confessing or admitting to someone such as something wrong you have done or something you have kept hidden by yourself. It’s like telling that person how sorry you are and admitting your flaws or anything you just wanted to say. It’s like telling the truth. But when it comes to love, confession is always the hardest step to take after the first step. Because it takes a lot of courage to do so. Sometimes, we are not good enough to tell to the person we love about what we feel. Sometimes, we are just too nervous to utter those words. Or we are not the best speaker. Or sometimes, the timing was not good at all. But whatever the hindrances we may encounter along the way, we should remember that the best thing in life only happens if we are honest enough to admit what we really wanted at the beginning. Indeed, confession gives a clearer point to the kind of love we always wanted to have._____________________________

  • ALMOST NOT OVER YOU   CHAPTER 7: WHEN CAUGHT IN BETWEEN LIES AND TRUTH

Life is bound with truth and lies. In an ideal world, we all wanted only the truth because we all believe in the saying that the truth will set us free. Yes, truly indeed. It is better, to be honest with people no matter how hard it is than to tell a lie because it’s like stabbing a person on the back and that’s probably the most painful one to experience. Even at court, all truths must be heard. Those who stand on the witness stand take an oath to only tell the truth and nothing but the truth. Most assuredly in love, we also wanted that those people we love are also honest enough to tell us everything even the most painful truth—that they’d fallen out of love. B

  • ALMOST NOT OVER YOU   CHAPTER 6: TAKING THE FIRST STEP

In life, there’s always the first step in everything. Whether we want to start a new job, we need to take the first step—and that’s looking for better opportunities out there. We search for job openings thru the internet. If we want to have a new house, we need to take the first step—we need to save for that dream house we always wanted to have. During misunderstandings within our family, we need to take the first step to say sorry and make effort for reconciliation before it’s too late. As well as from moving on from the painful past that keeps hunting us, the first step is always on us—we need to take th

  • ALMOST NOT OVER YOU   CHAPTER 5: THE SIMPLE ACT OF KINDNESS CAN MEAN LOVE ROMANTICALLY?

They say, love, begins at a little act of kindness—kindness as defined as the state of being kind. It's like showing a sort of respect and extra care towards other people. And it can be both in actions and words. Occasionally, you just wanted to help him with his simple problems in life, or you just wanted comfort that person and make him/her feel, he or she is not alone. Sometimes, you are unaware of it, but the last thing you know, you are already falling for that special someone secretly. Well, that’s how simple and yet complicated love is. And, that’s one of the very best things that happen unexpectedly in life, the moment we fall for someone.
