Amidst it all

Silva's PoV

"Guess what Silva?".

"What?," I asked curiously drafting out the report, my boss asked me to draft out.

"Delvine Sterling's back to Moscow today," Sammy the only guy that ever talks to me bursted out and all colour drained out of my face, the report I was writing fell flat on the floor.

"You're joking." I stated amusedly

"I'm not," he said sternly and I almost fainted.

"Don't faint yet, silly Silva, he's at your house, something about wanting his bride," Sammy said smirking.

"I'm out of here, please tell the boss, I'm sorry I'm on a vacation," I said hurriedly packing up my things. 

"You wanna travel out, just to avoid your husband, what of your parents?, don't you care?" Sammy asked and I stopped dead in my track.

"My parents sorry yeah, I'm going home to get them too," I replied.

"You didn't have to apologize Silva, grow some wings I was just joking, I was trying to get a reaction from you," Sammy said chortling.

"No. My parents are important so I'd go with them too," I replied ignoring his comment.

"Whatever you can't be gone to long for your honeymoon okay?!" he exaggerated making me feel embarrassed.

"Sorry. No honey moon," I said blushing. "I'm just going to go home, get my parent and travel out," I added panting hard.

 "You're too cute Silva. Good luck." Sammy said standing up and ruffling my hair.

"Thank you! thank you!," I said crouching down in respect and running out of the office, dashing out of the building and into my car.

I breathed in and out for more than five times before starting the gear.

I looked at my Dad, then at my mum and then at the hitmen around us and regretted why i had come here.

"Boss's here." I heard one of the guard whisper and internally screamed oh God why?!.

Just as I was about to cut off my thoughts, Delvine entered, crouching down to give me a kiss on the lips.

I stood still as his lips touched mine not able to do anything.

My parents just watched in agony that they had betrothed their only child to such a man.

He pressed my body to his and kissed me the more, making me gasp before he let go, my face flushed and my lips swollen.

"Good DAY!, Mr and Mrs Trilby, how have you been doing?, you said I should give you three years after our marriage. Well. . . time is up. I'm here to take my bride," he said and I cringed before taking a good look at him.

He had grown more handsome over time, he had become a bit lean, more muscular and he had shaved his hair neat, he didn't have a moustache or hair on his jaws like before and he had an invisible innocent touch to his stern face.

"The way you're staring at me, little one makes me want to take you in front if your parents," he said and I just stared at him, not quite understanding what he said, while my parents just looked at him and rolled their eyes.

"So am i doing this the hard or simple way?. I hope I do not have to kidnap her before she becomes mine," he threatened and my parents looked at me helplessly.

I gave them the cue to go on and they nodded.

"She's all yours," they said and he smirked.

"Good then." he said carrying me sneakily and signifying his hitmen to leave.

I looked at my parents for the last time and tears dropped out of my eyes.

You don't have to cry little one, I'm gonna make you forget everything soon.

I will be the only one clouded in your memory, he said and I cringed as we entered his car.
