View MoreMaggie’s POVMelanie spent the entire night tossing and turning in her bed. She was still so confused about what had happened that afternoon. Her heart told her to enjoy the attention and the care Arnold gave her, but her brain was warning her against him. She was still so young to make decisions but not that young to not know what the frantic heartbeat and the dryness in her throat every time he approached her meant. She just didn’t want to lose that, didn’t want to lose him.The next day she decided to follow her heart. Melanie got dressed in one of her favourite dresses, took the book
Maggie’s POVMelanie was now in her room facing the window. It was still warm but there was a light breeze. The curtains were moving, following the movements of the tree in front of her house. Her room was dark because she chose to have the light off. She needed her time to process everything that happened today. He kissed her. And she got angry because it was her first kiss and he stole it from her. But then… she kissed him. What was she thinking? She liked it though. To top it all, Emma has been throwing tantrums about almost everything lately and I can’t figure out what is causing it.I had to get out of the office for at least an hour just to keep my sanity. Luckily Sarah is the best friend one could get and suggested to meet up
Maggie’s POVLove is the most complete feeling a human being might feel. It will bring you a lot of other ones which might be good or bad. You might get a feeling of belonging and care. But you might get other feelings like fear (that you might lose them in any way), or jealousy (that might push them away if not controlled). It is a strong emotion. I would put love in the basic needs section because without love we’re empty. This book, though, is making me feel things that I thought I lost a long time ago. I feel these characters close to me like no other character ever was. For instance, I can feel Melanie
