Synopsis
Seventeen year-old Rory doesn't believe in love. Not romantic love, anyway. Her parents had her at sixteen and she was raised by just her dad from the age of two after her mum walked out on them. When her best friend, Beth, decides to set her up with her boyfriend's best friend, Max, Rory reluctantly agrees on the basis of getting Beth off her back, and is not at all prepared for what happens next. Hi readers!Just a quick note about this book before you get started, to avoid any confusion.This book was written nine years ago, in 2011, when I was sixteen. I figured it would be better off here where somebody might get a bit of entertainment from it rather than it gathering metaphorical dust on my hard drive.I think a lot of parts of this novel are a little dated, now - my writing style has changed drastically since I was a teen for one thing - but a lot has also changed in the world in the nine years since I wrote it and while I've made some small edits here and there, I've tried to keep it as true to the original as I can, and as true to its time as I can.If you notice the characters don't text a lot, that's because back in 2
