My eyes drifted to the school environment, the admin block to be precise.
It was painted ash throughout and the glittering white did not fade to show.And a lot of artistic designs were brightly furnished at the end of the front buildimg
Decorated with a lot of lilies and hibiscus flowers.
We walked up stairs after my dad, opened the door like a gentle man it was really sweet.
We opened the door and greeted the well seated man and greeted my dad with his youruba furnished accent.After the talk and school fees payment s we were headed up to the girls hostel.
" Good morning ma'am " I greeted the dark pretty lady whom I supposed to be the house parent
She directed I and my mum to the room upstairs which was supposed to be my room
"Seriously mummy did I not tell you that it was necessary buy hangers, you refused now see you no hanger"!! I stated I was really frustrated.
An iron slap keep my back the minute I said that.
Chissos mummy slapped my back on the day I was leaving her, for school, I just can't wait to tell Daddy what just happened even though I admit it was a little bitty rude but it did not amount to the slap, from the admin block you could hear how the slap sounded and probably even felt especially on my first day of school."Olila", my mummy called me (this was an insult in idoma she said when she was angry).
" Did you give me money to buy it or do I produce money that your talking to me anyhow, you had better mind your self oh or else you'll not like what I will do to you" she said pointing her index finger warning me.Abeg she should just do and go real quick, Haba, my first day of entering boarding school and Mummy just acting as if........ I did never know when tears began to drop, so sad "I'm so going to tell Daddy, about this ehn!!" I muttered.
We continued arranging, and this time I cried intentionally so that daddy could see the tears I'm my eyes!!!!.
Just say you're wondering men are not allowed to enter the Hostel even though all other students were in class the old house parents refused.Jenny was just admitted to the school she was full of anxiousness and what her mum did was really illicit left to her, she was right in some easy but at the same time wrong.
It was very wrong to speak to her mom such way but at the same time. Her mum over reacted the issue.It will be all settled because they are family and it will not be for so long.
