However, it seemed that her last year in high school would not be too easy, amidst her failing grades in Math, annoying classmates, a mysterious teacher, and the appearance of that pesky little thing called love in her life. View MoreThe bell rang to signal the end of the class and students scrambled to get the hell out of the classroom to go wherever they needed to go to. For Patrick, it was to somewhere romantic so that he could ask Jasmine to be his girlfriend. Ella was told it was to the Italian Restaurant where he had a reservation for the two of them, while for her, it was to wait for her uncle at the school gate to tell him that Jasmine had to go to Bella’s house for a group study. That was the task Patrick gave her when he saw her after lunch. After that, she had to go to the coffee shop to meet her Math teacher and tutor for their lessons.Everything should go according to the plan, Ella thought.

She shook her head to herself—she admitted that the teacher annoyed out of her.Like he tries so hard to come off mysterious, she snorted.
Her tall classmate sighed in defeat. “Alright. I guess I’ll still go with you. Who knows if you’ll still do some dumb shit like that again?”She fixed him with a look and asked exasperatedly, “Are you gonna let go of that or what? Come on! I still have to study!”Patrick grumbled all the way as he marched away from her. Ella followed, kind of amused with how this guy was acting. Sure, she was annoyed, but somehow, deep inside a secret place in her heart, a part of her was full of wonder…
