Ulfi is waiting for Melsa who is still talking to someone on the other side of the phone.
"by the way, today Kia and Ifa wanna join lunch with us." Said Ulfi, -with both eyes closed, telling his friend.
"They want to come here?. "
"Yeah, she said she wanted to buy goods too, I don't know what it is."
"Ooh, okay."
Then Melsa's cellphone rang, but she didn't move because her feet were being handled by Nita, a regular employee who handled Melsa every time she went there.
"Miss, do you want to pick up the cellphone first?" Asked Ms. Nita on the sidelines of her job.
"No need, Nita. Please just turn it off, I forgot to turn my phone into silent mode." Melsa asked to be turned off because it would disturb other visitors in the room besides her.
"Your boyfriend will okay?." Who Nita means is definitely Alex. Because of how often Melsa visited there, accompanied by her boyfriend. But Nita joked about Alex who was angry so Melsa just laughed too.
After finishing waxing from all over her body to her eyebrows, Melsa called her boyfriend.
"What’s up?" Melsa spoke to him while walking towards where the four of them would meet.
"Are you still at the mall?"
"Yes, just finished."
"Are you going home now?"
"I want to have lunch first."
"Oh, I'll pick you up later."
"I'll contact you later, I don't know what time it is when everyone finish the lunch."
From a distance, Melsa saw Ifa walking towards her with two shopping bags in her hands. "Melsaaaaaaaaaaaaa." Ifa chouted when Melsa waves at the woman. Ulfi bursts out laughing at Ifa, while Kia immediately retreats away from Ifa because she is ashamed to be the center of attention of the people there.
Kia spits out the word "who" to Melsa but without a sound, referring to who is talking to Melsa on the other side of the phone. Ulfi tells Kia that it is Alex who is talking to the woman.
"Alright Leeeex, we want to eat, don't bother Melsa first." Kia shouted beside Melsa's ear who was holding her cellphone there.
"All right, Lex." Close Melsa.
The two friends who had just arrived took the place opposite them.
"Crazy, it's still noon, you've just been absent Mel." Kia joked.
"By the way, Alex is coming to Becca's birthday party huh?" asked Kia while opening the menu that was scattered on the table. Ifa joined in opening the menu on the side.
Melsa tensed at his question. "Becca is his ex-girlfriend?"
Kia nodded. "Yes, he didn't say?"
The woman shook her head. "When?"
"This evening, in baxter." Said Kia. "But you should ask him."
"Well, where do you know from?"
"Earlier Becca invited her to the class, in front of the children. Then Alex said he would come. "
"Oh." There was something stuck in Melsa's heart to hear that from her own friend. Her friend couldn't possibly be lying. Kia is the person who introduced Alex to Melsa first. They are both in the same class, including Becca. However, who knows since when Kia has bad blood with Becca, so she is excited about matching Alex to Melsa to make Becca upset.
"Don't worry, Mel." Said Ifa. "Alex is coming there because it doesn't feel right if he’s not come when everyone attending the party." Kia and Ulfi agreed.
"Yes, it doesn't matter either." Melsa replied, convincing her friends. Or maybe he needed to convince himself herself.
"Calm down Fa, if Alex is doing things with Becca, Melsa just has to choose which guy to take revenge on Alex through. Am I right, Mel? " Said Ulfi
Melsa push her friend's head softly. "I just have to choose Hotman Paris which car to use every time I want to get out."
The four of them laughed and continued the conversation which was full of gossip and disgrace with their friends who were not very close friends. Because the four of them came from different classes so every time they gathered there was always something new that could be told to one another.
