Chapter 1: Confession

Sakura’s POV

Today is Valentine's Day, and I'm planning on giving Seiya chocolate. I liked him for three years now, and I have the guts to confess to him. I hope he will accept the chocolate and my confession. We are not at the same level. I am in section-D, and he is in section-A.

By the way, let me introduce myself. My name is Sakura Go, and I am half Japanese. My father said that my mom died when giving birth to me. I am an ordinary and simple girl. I'm 5'4 in height. I am lazy when it comes to my studies, but I need to pass all my subjects because I don't want to repeat a year. I am now in the third year and still had a crush on Seiya. Seiya is my inspiration. I admire him so much.

Back to the present. I went to Seiya’s classroom, and I saw him outside. I approached him.

“Seiya! Happy Valentine's Day. Here, chocolate for you,"

“No thanks. I will not accept that. Ciao”

I was embarrassed and ashamed of myself. Some of the students witnessed it. I went back to my classroom, feeling down and embarrassed.

As I was heading to my classroom, I heard students gossiped about earlier. It spreads like wildfire.

“Sakura gave Seiya chocolate"

“Really?”

"But she got rejected eventually,"

"She's brave, though, knowing Seiya’s attitude," the students said.

"Will you please stop gossiping about it?" I said in my mind.

The students were startled, and I hurriedly went to my classroom.

“Sakura, I heard that you confessed to Seiya,"

"Yes. I just gave it a try," I said, feeling down.

I just gave it a try, but my luck is not working. Seiya doesn't like me. I like Seiya when I first saw him at the opening ceremony.

Flashback.

During the opening ceremony, when the principal is done presenting his speech, the students went to their assigned classroom. I already made a friend, and her name is Rose Carter. When we are finding our classroom, I saw a handsome guy.

“What are you drooling at Sakura?”

"Ah, I find that guy handsome,"

"Ah, I know him,"

“You do?”

“He is known to be handsome and smart but is arrogant and cold-hearted. His name is Seiya Chiba,"

“How do you know about him?”

"I heard some students gossiped about him at the opening ceremony,"

"Ah, ok,"

I think I had a crush on him.

Back to the present.

“There, there. Don’t be like that. At least you tried”

"I feel embarrassed,"

But I still like Seiya, even though he rejected my confession. I will just watch him from afar starting now.

Class ended, and I am ready to go home.

“Sure you are ok, Sakura?”

“Uhum. Don't need to worry about me Rose,"

"Ok. See you tomorrow,"

"Ok. Same to you too,"

When I was outside the gate, I bumped into Seiya and his friend, I suppose.

"Oh, Seiya. Is she that girl who confessed to you?”

“Uhum”

“Ah, I will be going now” I ran because I feel embarrassed.

I don’t want that to happen again.

Seiya’s POV

Let me introduce myself. My name is Seiya Chiba, and I'm half Japanese. I am tall, smart, and handsome. I am from section-A. I always got the highest grade and rank in school.

Today is Valentine's Day, and I feel annoyed by the girls who gave me love letters and chocolates. There's also this girl who gave me chocolate, but I rejected her. She is not like the other girls who confessed to me though, all the girls that confessed to me put lots of make-up on their faces, and she didn't put make-up. She is just simple, but I don't like those kinds of girls who keep on pushing themselves on me.

When my friend and I are going home, I bumped into her, but she ran when she sees me.

"That's rude of you to reject lots of girls today,"

"I don't care. I don't like those kinds of girls,"

"But she looks lovely and simple. Not like other girls who confessed to you,"

“I agree though”

Years came by, but I didn't saw the girl whom I rejected.
