I watch as the crowd starts to multiply, right in the middle of Heavens-Dale street. Not only were there adults, but the number of screaming teenage girls, clutching posters, seems larger than before. They're peering down the street, as a fleet of trucks, cars and minivans pass them by, and the girls chase after them, screaming his name.I follow the crowd, smiling to myself as a little girl starts waving her own handmade poster, lettering: "Marry Me Ryan!"You wish, kid. I've lived in Wisconsin all my life, so I've never had contact with anyone outside of the state. No relatives, no friends in California whatsoever. I haven't mentioned my slip-up to Ryan. He doesn't need to know about my pure negligence and strangely, I have a peculiar trust in Daniel. He doesn't seem like the type of guy to spread gossip around carelessly so I don't really think I have anything to worry about.  It's been over three weeks since Cassidy's birthday party. And I haven't spoken to Aaron since then. I only ever see his face, around twice a week. And even during our rare collisions, he hardly even notices me. It's as if my very existence irritates him, and trust me, the feeling is mutual.  Tessa and I approach the usual lunch table, after our last History lesson with Mrs Staples. Aaron is nowhere in sight, which is only to be expected. I've been quite familiar with his absence over the past few weeks and I'm beginning to relish in it.
