Chapter 18

Rose's Pov:

"JANELLE OMG CAN YOU STOP BLOODY SINGING!!!!" I yell in annoyance covering my ears as Richelle does the same wincing while Liam looks in the corner of his eye as he snickers, I glare at him as he starts smirking while I'm in the front passenger seat as Richelle and Janelle sit in the back 'God he's hot' I thought as I was admiring Liams features 'NO WE LIKE RYDER GET LIAM OUT OF YOUR HEAD YOU HEARD WHAT RYDER SAID!' I scrunch my eyebrows together ' Was he lying or really telling the truth this time' while I was in thought Janelle's singing ceased when the car came to an abrupt stop. As we get out of the car we followed Liam as he walks ahead, Janelle's mouth waters "Look at that ass!" she says watching it move, I roll my eyes as Richelle looked at me with a 'is she stupid face' she drools as we keep walking towards the cafe we creaked open the cafe door as a bell rings, I look around for Liam as he is in the booth and waves us over as we all sit A waitress comes over bored and blows a bubble out of her bubblegum and looks up in boredom "Hi my names Chloe what can I get yall" I was in thought thinking if Ryder was right about him but so far he hasn't shown any signs of using me hmm.. I'll keep an eye on him though if he tries anything, 'WAIT SO YOUR TAKING RYDER'S ADVICE NOW' am I going nuts or what? I question myself as I keep hearing a voice repeat in my head. 

I get a little shake from Richelle "It's time to make your order Rose" she says gesturing over to the waitress who looks like she just wants 'out' of this job, "Can I please get a small beef burger with a side of chips, salad and one large hot chocolate, thank you" as I than add "and maybe add a smile to your face because you might get fired" I say gesturing to the boss who is sitting down going through paper work on one of the dining tables in the cafe, she scribbles down the order after throwing me a big glare as she stomps off, "Well that was the... most impolite waitress I've met she is definitely going to get fired for sure" Janelle comments at her retreating figure, "So ladies why don't you tell me some more about yourselves especially you Rose" he gestures towards me 'especially me? What's his motive here', "Do you want to hear about me first" Janelle said pulling down her top a little 'OMG HELP ME!' I mentally scream to myself I grab my phone in complete and utter disbelieve at the sight of what she's doing and text her.

Rose: JANELLE PULL YOUR FUCKING TOP UP YOUR LOOKING LIKE A COMPLETE SLURRY FOR CHRIST SAKE!!!"

She picks her phone up as the notification tone rung..

Janelle: "Oh come on I'm just having a bit of fun besides he is so single!! because Ryder has already claimed you and he's off the market, but this guy is on the market and up for purchase".

She says looking at Liam with hunger in her eyes...

Rose: "Ryder has not claimed me I'm my own person I'd be damned if I let a guy take control over me or my body and my personal life thank you very much and your making out like Liam is a complete object when he is a living human being".

She looks up and gives me a smirk before writing one more text

Janelle: "WATCH ME I'M CLAIMING THIS PIECE OF MEAT BITCH!!!"

I glare and respond with...

Rose: "IM GOING TO MURDER YOU JANELLE GLOWANS" 

She puts her phone back into her bag and has her cleavage on full display I shake my head at Richelle and gesture with my eyes towards her sister's display of cleavage.

Ryder's Pov:

I pace back and forth... "what did he mean I killed someone close to her and she's already claimed by whom though,"  I say out in the open as I grab my phone and text my boss Rico.

Ryder: "Hey Rico can you do a background check on Rose Hopewood?"

Rico: "Your step sister?" He asks

I huff in annoyance and type faster 

Ryder: "Yes my brothers here and he has a motive but he said to me that I killed someone close to her and she's already claimed"

Rico: "Okay I'll look into her but you owe me for this"

Ryder: "thanks Rico"

Rico: "No worries"

"What are you hiding Rose" I say out loud , I sit down in thought as I than ring my dad curious to see if he knows anything.

I dial his number as I hold it to my ear 

Ryder: "Hey dad sorry to disturb you but Liam has just showed up here" I said as I bite my thumb.

Nigel: "What? How come?" he replied

Ryder: "You didn't know at all that he was going to show up?" I ask

Nigel: "No I didn't know why has he shown up now? Of all times" he says out loud in thought

Ryder: "Dad he mentioned to me I killed someone close to Rose and that she's already claimed you were once the gang leader do you know anything about this?" I replied in curiosity 

Nigel: "No at the time I didn't know much but while I was having the affair with Linda she was having money trouble" he replied

Ryder: "Money trouble?" I question confused

Nigel: "Yes money trouble...and at the time she was trying to marry her daughter off to someone but her father put his foot down and refused to put his daughter through that" he said 

Ryder: "Marry her off?" I ask while continuing "Anything else?" 

Nigel: "She was sent to her supposed fiancés house for three months but came back as a different daughter Linda said she didn't know what happened but she still is considering the offer".

Ryder: "But she has you now why does she still want to marry her off" I ask starting to get pissed.

Nigel: "Because that is what was originally planned and she is a woman that completes not Manoeuvres around a problem" 

Ryder: "......" I'm quiet as I'm in thought but cut him off while standing up knowing that I need to find out every bit of information about Rose.
