Chapter 4:

As I finish up in the detention room I feel like my ears have steam coming out of them as I shove my phone in my back pocket and grabbed my keys out of my purse the first thing that popped in my mind was 'I hate Ryder' I put the key in and started the motorbike up driving home.

10 minutes later:

I parked my bike in the garage and walked in my mother sat on a bar stool until she heard myself enter the room, I slid open the sliding the door and shut it. I put the kettle on and turned around to face my mum "So.... what did you want to tell me?" I question she fumbled with her fingers,  she's never acted this way before "Mum are you okay you can tell me right" I say trying to comfort her "I have a boyfriend" she rushed it out, my eyebrows furrow, "I hope I heard wrong but did you just say you have a boyfriend I know dad died at the end of last year but are you seriously that ready to hop into another relationship "she nods while closing her eyes like she's starting to regret telling me. As I turn away I try to control my anger gripping the bench hard it was getting close to dads birthday and I couldn't deal with it mum still wanted me to marry Jace the one person I ran away from all for money and power "Be honest with me did you have an affair is that why you and dad use to argue?!" I calmly tried to speak she looked at the ground in disappointment "Yes that's why I wasn't happy I never saw your dad and we didn't have a life it was just him working all the time we lost our spark, And since the marriage that was arranged was never prepared we went broke sweetheart" she mumbled, I looked at her down disappointed and disgusted" How could you after everything dad did for you working late hours to provide for both of us and you went ahead and was fucking another man I'm guessing the guy you were fucking did the same and that marriage I was willing to do it for our sake but he's a psycho I tried explaining what he did and you still want me to go through with it!" I stared down at her as I stormed upstairs trying to forget what she had said but I wasn't prepared to go down yet but I knew I had to I couldn't avoid the situation as much as I wanted to.

1 hour later

As I sat in my room on my phone it was about six in the afternoon when I heard voices downstairs 'Who the hell is here at this time, no, no, no, no I heard my mum say babe"Great just great! playing apparently fucking happy families, no thanks" I swung my feet off the bed and headed towards the stairs. As I descended down the stairs I head to the front door happy to leave only as I turned and looked and I was beyond shocked "YOU!!" I said savagely, he gave me a fake smile "What are you doing here petals?" he asks while putting his phone in his front pocket. "I LIVE HERE GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!" as I yelled his eyes widened in surprise "it looks like we're going to be getting well aquatinted " he seductively bit his lip, is it wrong I found that hot 'Wait a minute... he was talking about meeting his stepmother and stepsister no, no way' mum walked in "I've seen Rose your aquatinted with Ryder here" she smiled "I WANT HIM OUT!" I couldn't come up with anything better besides that my mum's eyebrows furrowed before she said "Rose calm down I know your angry b-" as I snapped my head towards her "NO! UGHHHH!!!!! this is ridiculous do you know how much of a dick he is" her eyes widen "Rose calm down and go sit down this instant" she said raising her voice "fine I'm leaving after and going out for a ride" I walked past Ryder bumping into his shoulder as he was smirking I sat down in a chair but it just so happens that he just had to sit next to me purposely imagine what the twins are going to think when I tell them this.

As I sat in my seat looking down at my phone texting Clay my cousin bitching to him about the fact of this recent development, I feel my phone being snatched out of my hand by no other than Ryder as he gave me that million-dollar smile "Who you texting petals?" he questions while putting his hand on the other side of him going through my texts "GIVE IT BACK RYDER!!!!!!" I raised my voice in annoyance, he kept scrolling through so the only thing that had come into mind was to straddle him because in secret I really wanted to, so I swung my leg over and sat on him reaching for the phone, as I snatched it back I realized I hadn't gotten off his lap yet, I couldn't move because I was jammed between him and the table.

As I tried to get up accidentally wriggling on his lower half, he stiffened up I blushed after glancing up at him I tried to move and get up but he didn't let me he held both his hands firmly on my waist "We have to have dinner and I don't want my mum to see this, let me get off your lap or you'll end up on the floor like in mathematics" he smirked "Sure petals" I looked up to find Ryder's dad and my mother looking at our position 'too late..', "Jesus Christ" I mumbled I swung my leg over sitting in my chair "Well are we going to eat mum?" I question she says "Yea sure" as she stutters she puts the plates down "Thanks misses H," Ryder says with manners fucking faker I think with my arms folded "Just call me Linda Ryder" she throws him a small smile "So Rose I hear your in Ryder's mathematics class" I nod "Yea we had an interesting lesson" Ryder's dad smirked because he looked at his busted lip and he obviously knew what happened, I still didn't like the fact that he was sitting in my dads spot "So what do I call you?" I gesture to Ryder's dad "Just call me Nigel" I nod fake smiling in his direction, "So Rose what classes to you major in?" Nigel questioned I reply "I feel this is an interrogation already" he smiles "just getting to know my future stepdaughter" 'Future fucking stepdaughter my ass' my mum starts talking to Ryder asking him the same questions and about his other schools. 

 I suddenly jumped a little feeling Ryder's hand on my thigh while I clenched my knife and fork while he smirked I look at him and glare "Rose you okay?" my mum questioned I nod smiling "Just tired" she then continued asking him questions as his hand drew up further I grab his hand and yank it off me "You sure your okay Rose" Mum asked I nodded as she turned back I hissed at Ryder as he puts his hand back on my leg "Stop it! I'm trying to eat here" he just smirked he whispers in my ear "Don't worry I'll have you in my bed in no time" at the thought of that made me shiver "Just please stop I'm actually begging here I'm freaking eating" he smirked but didn't care, "Rose are you sure you're okay?" my mum question, "Yea you look flustered are you sure," he asked as his hand drew up further "I'm alright just a bit hot that's it" I grind my teeth, my mum nodded as I quickly grabbed his hand and tried to pull it away again but I couldn't he was too strong, "Stop it," I say viciously 'I've had enough of this guys shit I'm getting up before anything further happens I get up and excuse myself walking up the stairs slamming the door locking it before Ryder physically do anything else.

After 10 minutes of isolating myself into my room, I get a knock on my door "What!" I replied annoyed because I was interrupted and I wanted to be alone right now, "It's Ryder" he replied, I looked up really confused to why he was knocking "go away I don't need your hands feeling me up thank you very much" I turned over moaning into my pillow I than mumbled into the pillow and didn't want to look at him because of what happened at dinner and as I felt disgusted in myself for letting him touch me at all, "We need to talk about what happened at the dinner table don't worry it's not like I'm gonna bite" he said with a demanding voice and not leaving any room for me to disagree, I walked to the door unwillingly knowing I wasn't gonna win this fight as I unlocked and creaked the door open "well?" I asked with my eyebrows raised, he comes in without my permission nearly pushing me over but I gripped the door in time"Come in why don't you" I replied in sarcasm he slammed the door shut and pushed me up against the door as I looked at him through his eyes they were held with lust the only thing that I thought was oh boy.
