It is either she had an obsessive disorder or she was running away from something possibly her boss. She nodded not sparing me a glance. She moved to the side to give me passage. Lucas POV  A tingle ran through my spine when her eyes flashed with appreciation, though fleeting it was there and it was enough. She rested her back on the toilet sitter breathing heavily, her eyes now closed.  She looked so pale and weak I just wanted to wrap my arms around her and protect her. I suddenly wished that I was the one sick instead of her. "Should I take you to the tub or do you want to continue sitting down here?" I asked.  It took all the courage I had in me not to sprawl on the floor and take her into my arms, in the end I did exactly that. I sat on the floor besides her and took her right arm in mine softly massaging them.
