Synopsis

Kandra has been an omega for as long as she can remember which isn’t very long considering she has no memory of the first seventeen years of her life. At the age of twenty one she has been roaming the earth searching for answers to her past only to come across an alpha named Vericus. As king of all alphas he is ruthless and finds her constant bite back personally frustrating to say the least. However he is determined keep her safe even if he is unsure why. Can Kandra save herself from this brutal alpha and will she find out the secrets of her past. What you have to know about my life is one it only began four years ago and I don't mean I'm only four cause let's face it that would be a pretty boring story. No what I mean is I have no memory of my life except for the last four years. Now I know what your thinking obviously I suffered some sort of traumatic event that one either caused my self conscious to forget or two that traumatic event caused some sort of brain damage. Well since I can't remember I wouldn't know. it could be just something I was born with that righted itself four years ago who knows. All I know is that I've spent four years trying to find out.Imagine waking up in the middle of North Carolina deep in the forests. Not a sign of injury or any trauma yet no memory of what happened to me. I was found by some people camping my clothes tattered and torn. Since there was no missing persons reports or anything with my picture all I remembered was my name, kandra.

It was Sunday my only day off, I didn't mind however since the busier I was the more it kept my mind off my failure to unlock the secrets of my past. I lived in a small house on the outskirts of town. It wasn't much being more like a one bedroom cabin then anything but it was home at least for now anyway. I had planned on staying at home maybe reading a book but clearly the universe had other ideas when my door burst open emitting Sloane my best friend in the whole world, well that I know of anyway."Morning Kan Kan."I growled at him as he walked right in instantly making himself at home going straight to my fridge since werewolves were always hungry something about feeding our beastly sides. It took all of one hour to reach Charlotte Slo clearly making up for the fact that he was slower at running by breaking records in getting here. His brother must be just as bad considering his mclaren P1 was sitting in the driveway of an even bigger house then the one we just left.Slo stepped out of the car and came round to my side since I was too busy staring wide eyed at the building before me. 5. The branding
Slo stayed with me until Owen came to my room to scold him from neglecting his pack duties. Slo said good bye and rushed out the door leaving me alone with Owen. Turning to me he frowned."I hope this isn't going to become a habit?"I stared at him silent confused by the question. He sighed crossing his arms like a stern teacher scolding his student."Sloane has duties to this pack as will you as soon as you've been branded. Every member of a pack has a job to do it's how we survive. Whether it's protecting the pack from attacks or cooking it doesn't matter a pack only works if everyone works together. 6. My new position
Since Vericus had branded me I had been put to work as a kitchen hand preparing meals for the pack under the watchful eye of a female named Rosmerta meaning a goddess of fertility and abundance, But everyone just called her Rosa. While she wasn't cruel she wasn't exactly nice either. Over the next few weeks I realised the magnitude of what Vericus had done to me. Slo was right in forcing the brand on me The pack treated me differently. While they weren't openly mean they more treated me like I was invisible. I often saw pity in their eyes when they thought I couldn't see but they did nothing to help my new position. The only ones that ever talked to me were Slo, Owen and on some occasions Cora but apart from that I was left alone. 7. Surprising new friendship
Since my days off were over I woke up early, I got dressed and headed downstairs to start helping in the kitchen. 8. Late night escapade
The rest of the day continued as it normally did with lunch and dinner over me spending the time in between in my room reading one of the books Slo had given me before I'd sent him away. I had planned on retuning to it after dinner but it just reminded me of Slo and the fact that I hadn't seen him since I wolfed out. So instead I decided to just go straight to bed after a shower. As I lay there staring at the ceiling I couldn't get Ty's image out of my head. I ran until I couldn't run any more til my paws hurt and my lungs screamed at me to stop. I slowed down til I came to a complete stop panting with my efforts of running.
