Magic was a thing she could only dream of. It was something that existed in the many books that lined her shelves. It was fictional, something that didn't exist. And then it did. At eighteen-years-old, Aureliah was adopted. Uprooted from her current life and shipped off to Estes Park, Colorado, she can't be certain of what to think. People are disappearing, vampires are lurking, and potentially targeting her. A women with red eyes haunts her dreams, rumors claim her long-lost parents may truly be alive, and it seems she may be no mere magician, but something far greater. But Aureliah knows far too well that fate cannot be trusted easily. If she wants to survive with her life, and her sanity, she can only hope to be able to handle all fate throws at her.
