The force from Deans punch to his mouth was enough to send Rex scrambling.
"How dare you try stand up to me, you are nothing, stay down on the dirt where you belong." Dean sneered.
"People like you need to be reminded who is at the top around here, know your place and stay on the ground." Dean said, "it's pathetic that even your weak grandmother can't even help you become a man, 18 soon and still worthless like her"
Rex had never been so angry in his life, he didn't care that Dean would tease him, but the moment he brought his grandmother into it made it unbearable for him.
"You'll wont get away with that!!" Rex yelled jumping to his feet. He wildly ran at Dean swinging his arms like a madman trying to make him pay for what he said.
Seeing him coming at Dean his friends jumped into action grabbing an arm each and spreading them out for Dean to have an easier target.
"Why do you never learn, you'll never win, you are weak and pathetic, as always, your parents didn't even want you either" Dean laughed punching him in the stomach.
Rex thought he would explode after hearing this!
"Don't talk about my family you a**hole!!" He screamed, filled with rage.
"Dean!! Something is wrong, we can't hold him!!"
Rex felt like there was a fire inside of him, 'This is your time' a voice boomed into his head. He felt stronger for some reason the more the fire inside of him grew.
Suddenly the boys holding him couldn't restrain him any longer, Rex's arms came free of their grasp with one mighty pull! Astonished at his feat he looked at them, looked at Dean and swung at him before they could regain their composure.
Bang!! Rex's fist collided with Dean's face with such a force that Dean's bottom jaw moved sideways, his feet left the ground and he crumpled to the ground with a groan 5 feet away from where Rex was standing!!
Seeing what he had done to Dean made Rex panic. He looked at his hands and thought to himself, how did I do that?
Meanwhile the other boys stared at him wide eyed not evening knowing how he had gotten free from them and how Dean ended up unconscious on the ground moaning.
"What have I done?" He said out loud.
He quickly ran down to the river, grabbed some water in his hands and brought it back splashing Dean's face.
Seeing Rex looking over him when he woke up was the most terrible thing he could imagine!
"Get off me freak!!" Dean yelled jumping up still partly dazed from the punch.
"I'll get you for that" Dean yelled grabbing the other boys and running off.
What a way to ruin what should have been a nice quiet day Rex thought to himself, still amazed at his sudden show of strength he didn't know he had.
As he started to pack up his bag, a sudden movement from up the bank in the trees caught his attention!
"What the..." he said to himself, as a black shadowy figure disappeared from his view.
After not moving and watching for a few minutes to see if it would come back, he shrugged and continued packing up his things, jumped on his bicycle and started to ride home, he no longer feeling like being at the river anymore.

“Uurgh” was the only sound Rex could muster as he forced his eyes open. He had an intense headache from being hit on the head and was quite sure that wet feeling behind his head was blood.
