2020-11-12 23:36:44It was the middle of the night but Clara couldn't sleep. It was raining heavily and there was a storm outside. She hadn't mentioned it to Mark but storms wrecked havoc in her mind.
She had been afraid of thunderstorms ever since she was a little girl. It was a feminine weakness she really despised.
She slowly got out of bed and headed to Mark's room. She gently knocked on the door. Mark opened it after a few seconds.
Just then the sound of thunder echoed through the house and she launched herself in his arms. She held onto him tightly around the neck and he gently stroke her hair, trying to calm her down.
When she realized the position they were in, she pulled herself out of his embrace quickly nearly falling but his hands went out to steady her.
"I'm sorry I'm scared of thunderstorms". I said looking down.
"It's okay you can sleep in my room tonight. I promise I won't try anything", Mark said chuckling after seeing my expression.
She gave him a nod and he led me inside.She suddenly lost her balance but he caught her before she hit the ground.
"Thank you," she said.
She noticed that his eyes had become darker. That's when she realized that she was only wearing his shirt. She hadn't worn the shorts since they were too big.
She tried to get out of his hold but he tightened his grip on her waist.
Suddenly he brought his lips down to hers. It was heavenly. She knew that people kissed but never knew how good it felt.
She wrapped her arms around his neck to bring him closer as her fingers went up to stroke his hair. He bit her lower lip asking for entrance which she gladly gave him. When they broke apart they were both breathing heavily.
"y-you stole my first kiss "Clara said touching her lips.
"That was your first kiss? I didn't know, but I don't regret it. Do you? "
"No I don't either it was great". Clara said her cheeks turning a darker shade of pink.
"Are you saying you like my kisses?" Mark teased.
Clara hid her face in her palms so that Mark does not see her blush.
Mark chuckled softly and lead her to the bed.
"You can take the bed I'll sleep on the couch "Mark offered.
"No I don't want you to be uncomfortable in your own house. We can share the bed. I mean it's king sized after all."
"OK if you insist".
Mark went to the bed and tucked Clara in. Ignore her state of clothing .He slowly climbed next to her, keeping distance between them to make her comfortable.
She heard him mouth a 'goodnight 'before she fell asleep.
