One step... ...was all it took to let go of the promising future everybody expected me to have, where I graduated college with the highests honors and offered with a wonderful job somewhere across the world that would definitely make me insanely rich. ...was all it took to let go of a two-year relationship with a man whom I had shared my dreams and fears with, the receiver of my random thoughts and budding wisdom, the person who didn't bother listening to all the hype and dramas that came with me being a teenager, and the man I had shared my heart with despite the seemingly infinite distance between us. ...was all it took to let go of the comfort I was used to have, of the anchor that kept my life stable and certain, of the compass that kept me guided towards the future that I believed I deserved after all my hard work, and of the sturdy ties I had with my family.
