Chapter 19: Help Me To Persue Her

2020-10-23 13:03:54Jackson saw the girl for a moment, who didn't move neither did she give any expression apart from being stunned, he nodded to Thomson and took the car key.
Jackson and Princess got into the elevator
The girl came back to her senses when Thomson passed by her.
"Who is she?" She blurted out
"Your late" he said
Thomson didn't answer her, he entered the conference room for the meeting followed by the girl and it was the shareholders meeting.
As Princess and Jackson entered the elevator,
"What happened to your car?" She asked
" It's broken" he lied
Jackson knew why Tom told him to take the other car than his, so he went along with the flow.
Princess didn't say anything to him. She knows that something is wrong but she can't figure it out,so she kept quiet.
'What if curiosity causes more problem' she thought as she has experienced once and had broken her arm. Even after many years she could still feel the slight pain when she holds the heavy objects with her left hand.
As they headed towards the villa. Jackson was very attentive at the road which made Princess unable to hold on.
"What happened?, I saw that you were distracted"
"I'll tell you once we reach home"

After the meeting
The girl followed Thomson asking non-stop from meeting room to the office about Princess as to who she is,as she saw him acting out of line.
He got irritated by her continues babbling and pestering and said
"So annoying"
"What you find me annoying now?"
'As soon as you have found a girlfriend, your telling me that am annoying!!!,That's not fair' she thought
She asked somewhat playfully
"Tell me, who she is?"
He saw her cute face and smirked
She could say he liked that girl and he is unwilling to say it,so she decided to ask Jackson afterall he is with that girl.
She saw Tom for the first time to act in such a way towards a girl other than herself, so she wants to deeply investigate her.
Just as shewas thinking about how to catch that girl there was a knock on the door, after getting the permission to enter Oliver got in and stood beside her.
"Looking at her he smiled, turned to Thomson and asked,
"Your looking for me?"
"Yes, take her back"
He glanced at her and asked,
"Where's your car?"
She turned and glared at Tom, who is signing some documents.
Oliver followed her glare and got close to her and asked in a low voice
"What's going on?"
She turned towards him band asked,
"Do you have Jackson's number."
"Yes, but what's the matter?...."
"Nothing, let's go"
Just as they turned to leave. Tom called out
"Karen, don't you want to know who she is..?"
"Yes ofcourse, I want to, but you......" Before she could finish, she heard him saying
"She is your future sister-in-law."
"What!!!!!!" Both said in unison.
The news shocked both Oliver and Karen
The more shocked Oliver blurted out
"What?........ Who?......... When?...."
"Am telling you this, so help me to persue her"
"Ahhh, so my brother is in love" she smiled playfully and continued...
"So.... tell me........ who she is?........ She's beautiful........When did you two meet?..... And.....
Before she could finish, it was interrupted by Oliver.
"What? You are in love and I don't know about it, C'mon man tell me honestly who is she!!!
"Her name is Princess" Tom said
"You mean........ Jackson's little sister!!!" Oliver was shocked
"You know her" Karen blurted out turning to Oliver.
"She is Jackson's siste, other than this I don't know anything about her."
"Really?" She asked in a heavy tone.
"Honey I swear, I really don't know anything about her other than she is Jackson's sister" Oliver repeated smilingly showing his teeth to his beloved wife.
As an elder sister it was her responsibility to help Tom get a girl,she personally picked some girls and set him on blind dates but he had always turned her down.
But now he is willing to be in a relationship, so she has to help him no matter what....
