Chapter 3: Bring Your Sister

2020-10-18 21:56:50After hearing Mr Thomson is waiting for him in the office, Mr Jackson was little surprised because as per their friendship is more than ten years old, Thomson never took the initiative to come to his office.
This is the first time Thomson is in his office,so he was more curious as to what business does he have with him to meet in person.
Mr Thomson has helped him a lot during his struggling time, he even helped him financially by giving him loan as much as he asked without any questioning and sometimes even without even asking.
So Jackson will help Thomson without any regret.
Jackson entered the office and saw Thomson sitting on the sofa, his face is pale.
"Hey Tom" he said.
"Hey" he replied as if there is no strength left in him.
Jackson noticed his indifference and was worried and asked in anxiety,
"What's wrong?..... What is it you want from me?"
Hearing this Thomson saw the wall clock and said
"Let's talk during lunch"
Obviously it is working hours as he himself is a workoholic, he didn't want to disturb the work of his friend.
Got up and went near the door and said
"Can your sister accompany us for the lunch, my treat."
Jackson was surprised as he not only came in person to meet him and also wanted to see his sister whom he had never met even once.
'This is interesting' he thought after a while and said
"Ok"
And both went out of the office.
Jackson had no time to waste as he has a meeting, there he didn't see his sister and lightly frowned, so that no one can sense him.
The meeting took three hours, after the meeting he called his sister, 'no reply' he dialled again.
"Hey big bro, what's up?" she said
"How's everything? I hope there's no problem right?" he asked
"How can there be a problem with me here? Don't worry I'll take care" she said.
After hearing his little sisters words he was satisfied and said.
"Let's have lunch together. Tom has some business with you"
"Tom...!!!... O Tom, the savior, what business he has with me, when we didn't even meet once in our life? Why now? she asked.
"That's what am curious about, hurry don't waste your time."
"Ok, I'll be there soon after I settle the matter here, it won't take much time." she said
"Ok" he said and hung up the call.
'She is the only one who is capable to handle this in a proper manner, I hope everything goes well'
While thinking about this he went to busy himself.

In a villa
Richa is lying on the bed, still unconscious, after sometime she opened her eyes and saw Lia beside her. Lia was worried, when she saw Richa opened her eyes, she sighed in satisfaction that she is awake, hurriedly asked her
Are you alright, what happened?.... I was waiting for you but you didn't come, so was looking for you and heard gun fire."
"Do you know how worried I was?.......I almost got a heart attack!......!!!"
"Am sorry....." Richa frowned.
"Am sorry too.... I was not able to take care of you. I almost broke my promise......"
Yes, Lia had promised her father that she'll take care of Richa, no matter what happens she will always protect her from danger. But today she almost lost Richa and was about to cry.
Richa held Lia in arms and embraced her into her arms and said
"I always have you and big brother Jackson along my side, so what am worried about. But for today's incident it was really my fault, so don't feel guilty ok."
"Am guilty or not is not the reason, but you have to promise me to be careful in future ok."
"Ok I promise" Richa said while smiling.
Lia was satisfied, she looked at the time and said
"I have to go. Take rest, I'll see you at dinner."
"Ok, go get busy." Richa said while taking the food to her mouth as she was starving.

In a Restaurant
Thomson and Jackson were waiting for Lia,
"Sorry am late......" she said to her brother as soon as she arrived.
She couldn't see Thomson's face as his back was facing the door.
"Come sit we just ordered" Jackson said
"Oh, by the way this is Mr Thomson" he added
"Nice to meet you Mr Thomson....." while greeting him she was surprised, and pursed her lips.
Seeing her expression, Thomson raised his eyebrows as he was satisfied by his decision to meet Lia.
