My heart beats faster, tears running down my cheeks when I see young children hawk waves in a scorching sun, barefoot.

Many children have been kidnapped, their dreams, snatched away from their hands and their wishes, turn away from their hearts.

Many women and children have been raped, molested and even traumatized emotionally. 

Child abused should be stopped, Not promoted. It should be quenched with the water of life, before things gets out of hand for our future generation.

Not understandable.

Spiritual yet, Scientific.

Attacked us fiercely.

A stranger sadistic that grotesquely peeled us apart.

Covid-19,

Merciless virus that covered the world, like a thick cloud.

Took us by surprise as we watch and wait for it to change.

Wholesomeness among us died and we became two separate beings. Neighbors were detached, 

Lovers were apart.

Turned humans into two victimized unfamiliar faces and from a distance trying to understand the what,the how, the when and more-so, the why.

Covid-19,

Caused so much pain,

Brought us nightmares and grew up thorns in our hearts and bodies.

Walls without windows, 

Roads without doors. 

No one can see me inside, 

Nor can I see them. 

I'm invisibly locked outside, 

In this thorny silent thoughts of mine. 

My world is outside, 

Where there are no rooms.

Rich or poor, illiterate or educated,  privileged or not. 

I would stand in the midst of the country I call home, 

And in the midst of the people I call family. 

I would stand and spit the truth on their faces, even if it's bitter. 

It is bitter to us all as it is to me. 

For I'm lost, 

I'm so lost in my own home.
