The next morning Ryan was woken up by multiple jabs to his body. He slowly opened his eyes and found all the pups jabbing him with their paws "Wake up," they all said in unison. He was spooked at first but then he remembered the god had told him already. He looked at the excited pups "Wow it's nice to be able to talk now isn't it". They all nodded and began running around. Both mothers were looking at them with caring eyes. Ryan walked up to his mother who had a white pelt. "Mother can you understand me now", he asked. The mother nuzzled him with her snout "Yes I can little one". He nodded and was about to begin running around working on his stamina but was stopped by the other mother. She had a grey pelt and unlike his mother she was strict. "Now, save that for when you go outside". 

In the morning Ryan had to fight his way out of the surrounding pups. No matter how hard he had tried to wake them up no one budged. He shook his head "Come on you guys are young you should be full of energy", he thought. When he was finally out of Pup Mountain he began to head outside. It was the first day that the mothers weren't in the cave when he woke up so there was no one to make him wait till the others woke up to get out of the cave. He was about to leave but he heard someone behind him. When he turned around to take a look he found Fang Pup and another 3 others with him. He turned back to the entrance and left with the 4 pups behind him. After he felt the sun and wind on his fur he began to stretch and look around to see what was going on.
