View MoreAmy's POVI never in my life thought that I could be this happy. The only thing that could make it better, would to have my mom still here. Words can't explain how much I miss her, but it's nice to talk with her in my dreams. As for friends, Elizabeth and I became extremely close, I'm lucky enough to call her my best friend. Chase and her husband, Frank are also pretty close. Whenever we visit each other, her kids call Chase and I aunt and uncle. I absoutlely love them with my whole heart. Elizabeth and I tell each other EVERYTHING! It's comforting to her someone that I can freely talk to, besides Chase of course. I even told her about what my father did to me and the roles that Chase and her mother played in his death. She held me and we both cried for hours telling each other the good and bad parts of our past.As for work, I officially became a first grade teacher! I graduated top of my class and received my Bachelor's degree in early childhood ed
Amy's POVIt's been four years and a few months since we left Pleasant View. I couldn't believe that Chase surprised me by renting a house for us in Alaska. It was always a dream of mine to visit there, and he made that come true! We stayed there for a month and decided to travel the whole United States. Every state we would go to, we got a job at a diner. I was always a waitress, but Chase's cooking skills got him a job at a fancy restaurant a few times. We always told the bosses that it would only be for a month. A lot of places didn't like that fact and would turn us away, but others welcomed us with open arms.We would make sure to only rent places that had a month to month lease. We didn't want to commit to an apartment or house for a whole year. At least not until we were done with our travels, which brings me to the present. The last state we are visiting is Pennsylvania. We are in a small Amish town and I already love it!&nbs
The room I've been sleeping in must have been Victoria's. The whole theme of this bedroom was sunflowers which gave me the clue. I had to wait four days until my next day off of work. I waited until Jane left, then headed out to the backyard. I quickly went into the garden shed and grabbed the first shovel I could find. Jane had a big garden of flowers and a cute wooden bench in the middle of it. Though most of the flowers have died due to it being cold in November. The ground was also hard, which made digging a bit more difficult. I was digging up the area where she had sunflowers at. My heart was racing as I dug deeper and deeper. I know I should be pacing myself due to my lungs and ribs finally healing, but I was to anxious. I started getting dizzy and was about to call it a quits until I hit something hard. Bingo. There was what looked like a handmade wooden box. It wasn't too big, but it as heavy. I couldn't pull it out of the ground, so i just opened it wher
Chase's POVI was getting impatient waiting for the doctor to come out and inform me on Amy's condition. As if reading my thoughts, the nurse came out and told me that I could go in and see her now. I jumped out of my seat and walked as fast as possible to her room. I sat on a chair next to the bed she was in and held her hand. It fits perfectly, like it's meant to be in mine. I was informed that she has broken ribs, vaginal tears, dislocated jaw and one busted eye socket; along with bruises all over her body. My eyes were burning as I fight back the tears that were on the verge of falling out."I would like for her to stay overnight to monitor her.""She needs plenty of rest for the next two weeks to help everything heal properly.""Okay, doctor. Thank you."With that said, the doctor and nurse left the room.Jane's POVI placed my bloody clothes along with all of Amy's in the fire pit in my backyard before
