    The train was now directly in view, straight ahead and Darcy leapt up out of the sand, as if she were a snake, springing out of the ground to devour her prey. The sand quickly fell away from her body and in an instant, Darcy was on the move toward the train. The train continued to travel along the track and in a moment, it would speed by and she would have missed any opportunity to board.
