LOGIN* It is said that the most painful wounds leave the deepest scars. No one could attest to that more than Afrah Aminu. For eleven years she's kept a secret to herself, knowing that she might never be able to tell anyone. Not that she wanted to. But now, with the sudden arrival of a strange man in her life, she finds herself thrown into the terrifying situation of having to relive it all. As he tears down each and every wall she has set up around her heart, the memories of that haunting night come crashing in waves. Will she be able to survive it? Or will she be crushed underneath its weight?

*"You've come a long way," Adnan said, smiling as broadly as anyone had ever seen him. "What brings you this far north?""Forgive me, Your Grace," Fahad replied with a distant look in his eyes as he continued to stare at Afrah. "I should have sent a raven ahead."
*The first official trip Afrah and the others took under RHIP was toGurjiya,a small town on the outskirts of Kano. It was on a Saturday, just over a month before she graduated. Maryam unfortunately couldn't come, having caught the flu just two days prior. Afrah had wanted to drive there alone, but Adnan had rented a bus for them, and it would be rude if she came on her own.
*It took Adnan nearly three weeks to move in completely into his new home. The hardest part was getting the right furniture, a task which he had been looking forward to the least. After much consultation and multiple video chats with his mother, he finally found the right set for the entire house. It was only after the furniture had been brought in that he encountered another problem.
