Stranger

My first time ever in a whole new city, I never traveled before but here I am running as far as fast as I can... from my family who will never accept me for me.They were taxi cars everywhere, it seems easy to get around here, wow this is too much, I never dare imagine such a place I call for a taxi from the airport entrance.I asked the driver to leave me at the nearest hotel.Running from my life, my family. they'll never accept me, I sigh so loudly that the driver turns to see if I was okay. I force a smile trying to look polite and say “I'm fine” as if I could read his mind.We came up on a hotel which seems way too expensive for me and the little cash I had with me....“Ahh is there anywhere cheaper?” I ask the driver. Explaining myself. “I'm new here and I don't know my way around.”He looks at me and asks."Why, are you running from something??…."“You can say that.”
