The Emperor of Magic

Monsters live in areas that ordinary humans cannot reach but there are a select few who have great powers and are able to fight monsters, they are witches. In a peaceful and quiet village, a very young, 14-year-old boy is being trained desperately by a middle-aged man.

The young man was named Ariya Pino, a man of talent who would surprise The Continent of Ils, he lived with a middle-aged man who was coaching him. Despite having an unusually large mana, Pino does not yet know it, he is only physically trained by a middle-aged man named Ariya Balam, his own father.

Trained all-out without any time lag to rest, his physique is forged greatly. Balam, who used to live on the battlefield, became a formidable soldier and was good at swords. He who has gone through the cruelty of war either with men or against monsters. 

Although in the Ils Continent the witches were greatly glorified, fighters like Balam also received great attention. His powers, which are also powered by magic, are unique, balam's own magic core is in the form of a sword just like the weapons he often uses, so his abilities also come from magic, only different from most magic users.

Pino has not formed the core of magic, whereas he has a very large mana. Forming a magic core is not easy, many have tried it but failed and were forced to disappear from the wizarding world themselves. Knowing this, Balam trains Pino very hard, sometimes he will yell and get angry just because of the ness shown by Pino.

"Dad... It's really hard, I can't do it all the time. How much longer do I have to train like this? I've been training me with this kind of military training for years, haven't I qualified to practice magic? How long did You forbid me to do it?" so many questions are in Pino's mind, he who has been practicing since the age of 8 with training like a soldier feels if he is fit to practice magic.

Balam doesn't want to say it, but he understands exactly what Pino is feeling, instead he doesn't allow Pino to practice magic, but he doesn't want Pino to experience the same events as his mother. Balam can only slow Pino down in practicing magic by teaching him the swordsmanship he possesses.

However, the blood is thicker than water, he who has a great talent similar to his mother, can no longer be controlled by Balam. Inevitably, Balam allowed Pino to practice magic but he had to be able to pass the final test, which was to fight him and avoid any of his attacks, if Pino was able to do so, Balam had no right to ban him again.

"Well, if you can withstand Dad's attack. I'm going to let you practice magic, you've been training under the guidance of a great fighter for 6 years, you should've been able to show greater progress than we did a while ago, this is your 4th challenge, you already understand your father's power, show me your progress, son!!" said Balam, pulling out his sword, then pointing it right at Pino's face. Although Pino was young, he was tall enough and almost equaled his height.

"Sure, Dad. I must be so much better than before, get ready... I'll give my best," Pino said, taking the sword he had just put on a rock. His face is very serious, as soon as he grasps the sword, he brings out a different aura than before.

"Good... a steady stare. You've developed, son, you can bring out the aura of a fighter at a young age, your talent is good enough. Now show me how far you've progressed, son, I'm going to give you a real punch," balam replied, he was a little surprised to see Pino unleash the fighter's aura, which is not easy to do.

They are in a forest, on the outskirts of the Ashmoss Forest. The forest is quite dangerous because it is home to some quite dangerous monsters, this place was chosen by Balam as a place to live because he wanted to keep magic away from Pino, he did not want to experience the same thing as he used to, nor did he want Pino to suffer the same fate as his friends and adoration.

Just off the modest house, in the front yard of the house there are several stones taken and arranged by Pino. Balam and Pino face each other and point guns, a strong breeze blows them both, shady trees make the atmosphere more alive. Balam does not move his body, he just shuts up and stares at Pino, but the aura that emerges from his body puts pressure on Pino.

It was not the usual aura but the aura that had been forged through the experience of life and death, hundreds of battles balam had gone through, until he could get a strong aura like this. Pino strengthened his heart, he faced Balam many times and during that time he could feel how strong Balam was. Given his first fight, Pino felt like he was progressing, in the first fight alone, he couldn't move his body and collapsed instantly, he remembers very well that fight happened four years ago.

During this time, Pino trains very hard, he hides his feelings of wanting to practice magic and chooses to strengthen his body as Balam asks, but that feeling does not disappear at all and gets stronger as time goes on. "Dad... You know, I'm not going to be able to beat you. I used to want to learn magic, but... Dad, you always forbade me and kept me away from magic, now I'm going to show you the results of my hard work all along that follow your lead, Dad. For the sake of practicing magic I will do everything, I'm sorry I have to beat you, Dad."

Pino bolts like an arrow, he swings his sword and attacks Balam all the time. Pino's five consecutive moves did, but he never made Balam move from his position. Pino felt helpless, he had deployed his best in the five attacks, but he could not move Balam's legs, Pino kept trying, he attacked more vigorously and powerfully again.

After exchanging attacks 20 times, Pino began to get exhausted. He was unable to withstand the aura that came out of Balam for too long, let alone he had to withstand Balam's attack and be wary of Balam's sudden movement. Pino is pushed away and thrown after he holds off a powerful swing from Balam. Pino bends his knees and stares at Balam angrily, he doesn't know until when else he has to resist his wishes.

"You're thriving but not very fast, son. However, all is enough, I understand how much you want, I'll give you permission to practice magic but you'll have to pass an exam before studying... You have to wake up your magic core first, I will take you to that place," said Balam who turned his back on tears, he could not see the helpless Pino, seeing his determination so strong, Balam was forced to allow it.
