But today I'm leaving home to go live with a total stranger. In my opinion, granny would disown me as her granddaughter, she'd tell me in her own words, "None of the Parkers bring shame to their family," so here I am, clutching my box handle, my excited friend who doesn't know the truth of what's going on and my granny who for some reason seems to know more than she's letting me know escorted me to the car.Duncan stepped out of the car and flashed granny a fake smile.
