The New Kid

The new kid is a fictitious teen drama, created to enlighten readers about the oversized control a parent/guardians have over the lives of their offsprings. Sometimes this overshadows the dreams of their young once and traps them in a box created by the stereotypical insights of their guardians Inspired by a line in the song Cardigan by Taylor swift. (When you are young they assume you know nothing.) The story is about two characters. An 18 year old boy who loves football but succumbs to his his parents desire for him to study medicine. In hopes of fulfilling their wish he starts at Bloomfield highschool. First day of Bloomfield high and Hakeem comes across the beautiful Sophia Maurice, who is faced with the same challenges as Hakeem but unlike him, believes only in her dreams.
