MasukAnastasia's heart sunk at the sight of Stan falling. She exploded her ether and brought for a storm of ether that gathered around the area where Stan fell. She did not notice until it was late that there is a person in a gray battle suit that seem to be made of materials that she had not seen.
Anastasia felt alarm was the layer of ether, which was not present in this person. However, this person carried a blade glowing with ether, and she knew where he was going. Anastasia did not have to think about it more, and rose a wave ether. She felt the effects of the beluas eat through her layer of ether, but none of it mattered as long as she could this fighter reach her Blackwells!
The wave of ether broke through the beluas. As she fought, she noticed the beluaman changing its target. Anastasia brought out her shield, the beluaman's rag figure slamming against her shield. It seems like the beluaman did not notice the person. He did not have ether. How could someone without ether fight against them?
Anastasia broke another one of her configured attacks. The earth rose like pikes from the ground, and the water that came from the mud became spears itself. The beluaman countered with the same shockwave that brought down her Blackwells.
The duel became a raging torrent. Her fury versus the madness of the belua, she released her ether to smack down the beluaman. The person who was sprinting to her Blackwells was like a beast with that vibrant blade of hers. Anastasia thought that the man was using his vibrant like a pistol, reloading what seems to be a battery into his vibrant blade, then she realize that the ether came from that battery.
Someone was capable of storing ether, which means that this man was making use of that ether to fight. However, his use of the ether in his vibrant cause concern in Anastasia. He did not care for this man, but cared for what he was doing to reach her Blackwells.
Anastasia slid to the left. The beluaman use the roots of the spires to rain down the root-spears on Anastasia. Her battlesuit being scratch, scarred, but that did not matter to Anastasia. As long as this person reaches her Blackwells then it was worth effort.
"Out of my way," Anastasia roared, she raise a wave of swamp behind, the beluaman pulled the roots to block the attack. Anastasia thought that this was a battle was too much for an Outrider. To Anastasia's surprise, the Outrider carried on, dashing in, relying on his suit's capability to adjust to the chaotic field of battle. His gray colored suit had turned red, the smoke coming out of his suit made him look like a bloody ghost
It was clear that the belua had no effect to this Outrider. Which made Anastasia understand that this truly was a human fighting against the tide of belua. Humans were weak and obsolete race, but she understood well how dangerous humans are in face of proper tools.
"Good human!" Anastasia bellowed. She rose the ground and lifted the beluaman out of the way. The human arrived in front of her Blackwells, slaying the beluas, and clearing their enemies with efficiency. Taking Blackwells by the arms, the human easily lifted the sword that Blackwells carried. The sword weights two hundred kilograms. Even with a battlesuit, it should not be something someone could wield so easily.
The Outrider sheathed his vibrant blade. He took her Blackwells greatsword and swung it around with great force. The belua had their lower bodies cut up. The rest of the 10m beluas had their heels cut down by the greatsword of her Blackwells.
His location was to her. Anastasia used this chance to rain down continuous ether wave on the beluaman as a delaying tactic. Anastasia approached her Blackwells. Blackwells was injured. His left arm was broken and the life support system of his battle was working full-time to support her Blackwells's life.
"Who are you?"
"Flatline, Sanctum commissioned me for reinforcements" Flatline smashed the greatsword overhead the belua. "Miss Anastasia, I won't lie to you, but I am running out of juice."
"Reckless!" She made a thunderclap. "But you save my Blackwells! So just leave some of the weight lifting to me!"
Flatline nodded. He carried Blackwells on his left shoulder. The three carved a path but the belua surrounding them were like a tide that did not stop. The beluaman that Anastasia threw had recovered. It conjured a terrible energy that made use of all the ether in its body to create another an ether spell that brought down an entire spire to them.
Anastasia rose the earth and pushed the winds with her ether. Another horde of belua rushes at them with their fangs going for their necks. Anastasia calculated her ether consumption, and being around beluas like this did not do her good.
"Please hold on to the Commander!" Flatline said. He handed Blackwells to her, forcing his injured body on her. Anastasia did not refuse, she mainly raise a brow unable to understand Flatline. Then she saw him take up the greatsword, and with a great leap supported by his suit. He swung the greatsword on the beluaman. The beluaman flew to the swamp below them, and without missing a beat. Flatline threw the two hundred kilogram greatsword like a spear. The throw did not pierce the thick layer of ether of the beluaman. However, Flatline drew that weapon of his, and pierced the beluaman right in the shoulder.
Retreating to their location, spitting out the battery container of his vibrant blade, Flatline gestured for Anastasia to move. She did not like humans commanding her. Her Blackwells were the only person in the world she would follow, but for now, she not allow her pride to kill them.
Who cares? As long as her Blackwells was safe, she would not mind. Blackwells was her light, her hope in this world that would constantly put them down. She won't allow him to die in this god forsaken place.
The orbs of light hanging on the circular tower not far from where he was lighted Jakob's face. The veil of rain splits the lights. On the community, there was a group of people opening the hatches so that the floodwater whirls down the drain. From the second-floors of the buildings, there were men and women dressed in thick gray clothing.Jakob rested his back on the bench. He looked up. The flyers of Aured City numbered about hundreds a day. The city consumed fuel than any of the bastion cities. He had been ignorant of the world. Jakob did not have to know about the city. All he knows back then was how to survive a day outside of the city.Jakob clenched his fist. He had done something to change something. He did not know what it was that made things turned out this way, but he could not understand the empty feeling. The feelings he had while in battle were like momentary and fleeting."I really cannot do it," Jakob said. The rainwater was like spray hitting h
Jakob stood behind Helga. She wore a sharp business suit with a red tie. She had gloved her hands and tied her hair into a ponytail. She spoke to a man armed to the teeth. Though he looked intimidating, Helga did not show any stiffness or being overwhelmed. How could he, when Jakob was standing behind her with such an expression? The two talked for minutes. Helga shook the armored hand of the man and started strutting to the pad. The Karnifex was on the landing pad. Helga stood. She took out a cigarette from her pocket, lighting it up. She looked up at the Aured Sky."Just a drizzle of rain," Helga said.Jakob folded his armored arms. Helga snickered."You are getting used to that suit.""Hard to take it off when it seems like you are making use of me too much.""Can't help it, you are a good at what you do. Also, the Boss wants to personally make sure that my safety is secured."Jakob surveyed the area. The personnel from the buildin
Dona liked to mix drinks. She had become a better mixer than ever. It seems she had a natural talent. Helga had praised her drink, and when Jakob comes home, she would give him a stiff one that would ease his muscles. They had not done it for a long time, though she did not mind it. He was always full of thoughts and his mind would wander. Not that it matters to her as long as he comes home safe from his missions. He had become one of the terrifying people that Haven knew after his recent works, which made him quite an important person. Just by association, they treated her with respect. Dona knows she was riding on his coattails. It did not bother her that there are those who would call her hurtful words.Jakob was not someone who was a restricting person. For someone who started the relationship with cash, he was someone who did not bother too much about it. He was not a wasteful man. He was thrifty, and he liked to eat nutritional food with fondness. He acts like an
The event definitely took the attention of the people to the fields of Gharasu. The discovery of the cattle-human, and the appearance of the beluaman showed the world who the true enemy was again. They discovered the steelfort project hidden from Humanity. Leaders gathered to address the issue regarding the Project.Commander Stan Blackwells, accompanied by Anastasia and Karl arrived in the conference of leaders. Karl, the holder of the access key to the satellites around the world announced that he is siding with the Commander of Recon Korp. The move alongside the appearance of Commander Blackwell, supported by both human and etherian made the Leaders accept Commander Blackwells' status as one of the protectors of Aured City.As for where Sanctum and Haven stands in the issue, they answered by showing their neutrality in the matter. The first request that Karl made was to take back Gharasu and the steelfort. The government moved to prove that they are accommodating. T

The beluaman raises the ground, forcing Jakob to use the grappler stake to swing around the beluaman's attack, using the momentum created by the weight of the greatsword to hasten the swing. He turns around to smash the greatsword down on a 15m belua."Still alive, J," Helga called, "you are making Dona worry.""Got to buy time, Hel," Jakob flattened the greatsword to block a root spire. He grappled on the 15m belua, threw the greatsword, caught it, and pummeled a belua pouncing at him. Landing on top of a belua, he stabbed the greatsword's tip."Your suit is a mess," Helga said, "the amount of repairs it'll need is going to cost you. Nonetheless, the ether forge,
Her opinion towards humans were low. Anastasia will not work with these humans if she had the chance to do so. Blackwells changed her opinions of them. This time she had to admit. Humans were not as inferior as she thought. Their technology were keeping them alive. Even their medicine and drugs have started evolving. The suit this Outrider was wearing and the ability to lift her Blackwell's sword was enough to indicate.Still, it was odd in a sense that she did not see the usual side effects. He did not even take the usual syringes that one would take. Her and her Blackwells have been part of the many meetings and experiments. They share the burden of turning their fellow etherians into good soldiers. Therefore, she did not recognize any signs of modification other than the well-made exosuit. Deep in the swamp, hit by the rain, and surrounded. Anastasia kept her calm while pulling her Blackwells away. Blackwells conserved his energy. His eyes lacked light. There is an
