Fifteen Years AgoI ran upstairs, not bothering to close the front door in my haste, to see my dad. I couldn't wait to tell him I'd aced all my test quizzes.Two things happened simultaneously.First I realized that the front door was already open when I came in and Dad never left the front door open –he was big on security. Secondly, Dalia, the housekeeper usually waited around the moment I'd come back from school to take my stuff and make me lunch.I paused on the stairs and peered in the direction of my Dad's office.
