Zed could tell that during the night many more weak people would die.Throughout the night, gunfire rang out amongst the streets alongside screams of both human and undead origin....Morning eventually came and Zed had slept easily through the night. Due to his hardened senses, he could sleep through what others would call impossible scenarios. Of course, this didn't mean that he would be defenceless since he would be able to sense someone approaching.It was early and the sounds of zombies in the streets sounded surprisingly relaxing.   Zombies stood no chance against this ninja who cut them in half with ease. Blood sprayed and heads fell to the ground. The survivors on top the bus began shooting the zombies to try help ease the unending amount which had gathered.Zed showed no signs of slowing down and continued to use his blade to slice zombies clean in half. The only problem was how long this would take and so he turned on the stalker class and instantly his speed and strength doubled. The dent in the hoard grew to twice, no three times the size in a matter of seconds. Zombies died countlessly and without mercy. None stood a chance against this true monster.A few minutes later and almost every single zombie had been killed.   This man's power would be essential to Zed. Since Zed himself was an undead, the man could probably give him a decently large boost in stats.Zed continued to slice through the zombies in his way. Many of the zombies had their heads split in two directly across the nose. This, in turn, destroyed their brains and left nothing for the undead to recover with.After a few minutes of running, Zed saw a few girls in the window of a building. Seeing this, Zed cut down the last few surrounding zombies and walked up the buildings front door.The front door seemed to be blocked, most likely barricaded by the survivors within. With a single kick, Zed blew the door and barricades away into the middle of the lobby. As he walked in dust settled on the ground and Zed could tell that nobody was on the bottom floor of the building.Zed passed through the bottom floor which seemed to house a lobby and a few rooms. • The Zombie System    Rescue Mission

  Zeds car roared as it pulled out of the park position it had been sitting in. The car made it to the fence and soon four armoured military SUV followed.The soldier who was currently stationed at the main entrance to the private parking area opened the main gate.Zed and five soldiers were on their way to rescue as many family members as possible. This would be a long and tiring mission which could possibly take the rest of the day.Zed currently held a piece of paper which had the addresses of every single soldier's family homes. This is where he would pick up the family members.Zed picked up the radio and spoke into it, "make sure to keep close to my car and don't slow down unless I do.""copy that" A soldier soon answered.This soldier was soon followed by the same reply from the other two cars.The company of vehicles we're pummeling through z

  "Then, for now, we will serve under your leader, " said a soldier as he stood up straight.Most of the other soldiers agreed with him and stood at attention, awaiting a response from their new temporary leader.Kagami smiled, "Good, now get into pairs and secure the area. Make sure there are no undead and no gaps in the fences."Instantly the men paired up and set off to secure their new temporary base. Even the older soldiers who were more stubborn and unwilling knew that if they didn't listen, they'd be kicked out. And so they went straight to work.Within just five minutes the new base had been completely secured. It turned out there were no undead or living in the parking lot. Most likely due to its massive gates which kept them out.The following order was to take shifts at patrolling the base. Anyone who wasn't on patrol duty was to either reload guns or attend to vehicle repairs.

  At the centre of the city was a group of soldiers. This group consisted of 40 men, a tank and three turreted SUV. They were slowly being overrun due to the seemingly endless amount of zombies which continued to flow towards them. Their only option to survive would be to escape. However, even this seemed almost impossible.As the hoards kept coming, the group was slowly running out of ammo and still no opening for escape. Soon their number of 40 men was cut down to 30 then 27 then just 20. It seemed they were fated to be eaten alive by the undead.When all hope of survival had been lost a huge explosion set off in the middle of the hoard. The men were, for a second, stunned. But they quickly got back to shooting. Then another boom as another explosion went off in the hoard.Soon the soldiers saw from where the explosions were coming from.
