"I just got the Email a few minutes ago" I told Jane. Feeling very ecstatic and proud of myself.  "Awww, I'm so happy for you" my best friend of nine years replied on the other side of the phone, sounding equally happy for me "so when are you expected there?" She asked.  "Well, I haven't received the date yet, i just sent in my acceptance letter" I replied with the same enthusiasm.  "This calls for a celebration, and I don't want to hear that crap about not wanting to go out" if it isn't clear yet, i just got accepted to study my masters in NYU, and happy is an understatement for what I feel right now.  "Fine, only because I don't know when I'll be leaving and want to make the most of the little time I have left with you guys" I replied, sounding upset. I woke up to my alarm ringing this time around, so I had more time to get ready for school. I took a shower, and actually prepared something to eat before walking to school. I prefer walking to school on most days apart from when I wake up late.  Living in America for the past three months have been a bit easier than I thought it would be. I got used to the way things are done here pretty quickly, and kept to myself as much as possible. I've never really been one to actually care much about socializing with other people, and I like to think that it's a good thing. I've always hated crowds while growing up and have successfully avoided them since I got here. My parents, friends and siblings have all tried to get me out of my 'shell' but nop, I prefer to live a private life away from all the drama and attention. The following two weeks before I went home for Christmas break, were uneventful save for that one time when I was walking with Bailey and a guy tried to feel my ass which earned him a slap from Bailey who had seen the whole thing. And damn, that slap was real, I thought he was going to retaliate but probably thought better of it when he saw the crowd he was attracting and stormed off angrily. We've grown closer since then, and I saw that she shared a lot of similarities with Jane, character wise, fierce and very protective but soft on the inside.  Frank and I have been calling and texting a lot since he left, and we've gotten to know each other more. The day passed by in a blur of activities and by seven pm I had an account which I texted to Frank.  Jane left after explaining in details, how to use the app and answer calls, -like seriously I don't know if she thinks I'm incapable of doing or knowing that-, with a promise of returning the next day which was Christmas eve, once she's done with work.  I just got into my room when I heard the sound coming from my laptop so I sat on my bed and quickly accepted the call.  Thank God my hair was still in place apart from a few loose strands and I was still dressed in my leggings and cardigan. "Can i come in?" He asked when he dropped me at my house. I gave him a bewildered look.  He just laughed and said "I'm not insinuating anything, its just that my room is totally boring and lifeless. I don't want to go back yet" he explained while still laughing lightly.  I looked at him with a small frown on my face "I'm sorry, I just.. " inhaled sharply and said "I don't think it's a good idea"  He gave me a baffled look before speaking "nothing will happen. I do want you and everything that is you, but only what you're ready to give. I'm sure the wait will be brutal, but the end is all that matters right? But if you're still not comfortable, we can call it a night at this point" he said questionably with a lift of his brows.  I looked at the cute look on his face and sighed like it was a burden.
