LOGINChloe a sixteen-year-old was plagued by voices, voices that could only be heard by her ears. Tragedy soon strikes Chloe who is forced to move to a new area, only once she arrives she is forced to endure a teenage male with startling black eyes and midnight black hair. Feeling Déjà vu with this male she avoids him but is met with a problem- he will not leave her alone.
View MoreBlood continued to stain her face as she stared at the thing before her, a body that had no face nor was it recognizable due to the fact that it looked like it had been torn to shreds.
She didn’t know what happened or how it happened.
Only that it did and there was nothing she could do to stop it, or didn’t she?
After all, it was just a drink here and there.
Along with some chatting here and there until he leaned closer to her, it left her almost wincing and wrenching as he smelt of beer only because he drank more than her.
But that was not what got her scared and sick, no it was the fact that he also came on to her a little strongly- invading her private space without asking or thinking about how to respond.
They were just mates she and him, they knew each other since high school and now they graduated from their school in order to enter college in order to achieve their own dreams.
But now… now it had to be postponed and all because of this.
It was odd though, she never did think that it would happen.
It was always in her head as she heard them so she assumed, they never did hurt her only fill her ears with their whispered voices.
They were always eerie and left her shivering slightly as one passed through her before she could think to avoid one.
It’s thin hair like touch always left her shivering as they were always cold and rough.
No soft but scary and they would often leave her ruined and deprived of sleep.
Who were they she didn’t know but what she did know was that everywhere she went, every time she was in danger things would happen and now it had happened again.
This time her friend had paid the price or should she ever call him that.
How could he assume that she wanted to become more than mates, he knew how she felt and yet at times he made gestures here and there.
Each touch scared her even though she believed that he was cool.
Sure he was a little scary and dangerous, even when they first met.
His mesmerizing cold eyes always left her shivering, fearing him slightly but she would often try to push that away.
Especially when he stopped a bunch of girls from harassing her by breaking into one of the girl’s bathroom just to beat up a guy who was about to attack her and ended up getting her out.
“We’re friends, aren’t we Chloe?” he asked with a smirk shortly after they began talking more, or maybe it was him who came to her more often.
She didn’t get it though, she didn’t understand why he would come on strongly but it was nice to feel wanted at times.
However there were times when she did hear their voices telling her to run away from him, saying that he was dangerous and not to be dangerous.
So what?
He was her friend and she respected his dream which was to be a fighter, even though at times it did worry her when he got into street fights.
Most times it would often result in him getting arrested and put in juvie.
But only for the night, he always somehow got out of trouble thanks to his guardian Terry Smith.
Another scary looking guy who worked and owned a boxing ring, at times Terry never did stop her friend from going there to fight.
Not that she could stop her friend for whenever he had set his mind to something, he would do it whether she wanted him to or not.
Was that being a bad friend?
Maybe she was being naïve but now, now she couldn’t think or do anything.
How could this have all happened?
All Chloe could remember was that she was at her house until he showed up with a few bottles of beer even though they were sixteen.
They had talked for hours, catching up on how the other was doing until things grew tense and slightly awkward.
But why though? He wouldn’t hurt her and yet just as they got close- it happened.
Blood followed by death filled her eyes as she watched him cry out in pain while his hands covered his face, shooting up he wailed in pain until his legs collided with the table causing his front to land into the glass table resulting in a loud smash.
A loud gasp ripped from her lips as she stared in horror after forcing herself to stand up.
“Harry?” she croaked weakly as she stared at his now frozen form, he wasn’t moving as the broken table was properly in pieces.
Not one part of the table was intact but that was the last thing on her list of concerns, her friend was lying in a pool of his blood and was no longer moving or making any sounds.
“HARRY?” a panicked cry left her lips as she started to panic, her heart pounding harshly as tears formed in her eyes.
“HARRY?!” Chloe screamed loudly as she moved her hands shakily towards him but stopped, instead she took a step back and began to shake like a leaf.
Her eyes wide as she grew sick and scared.
“I told you he was dangerous” said one of the voices that entered her ears.
She shivered and whimpered even more before the sounds of her house door opening, this caused Chloe to turn to the door and cry as she saw the now shocked faces of her parents.
“M-Mama! I-I don’t know what happened!” she cried weakly, her voice forced and shaky causing her parents who were frozen to the spot until they looked at her petrified face.
The mother immediately rushed towards her and pulled her into a hug, that in turn left Chloe breaking down as she hugged her mother tightly.
Not even her mother’s soothing tones could soothe her woes, how could it when her friend was now dead?
Bottles were on the sofa and floor leaving anyone who could see them with ideas that were no doubt unpleasant.
But it’s not like she attacked him, she wouldn’t attack him and he no doubt would vouch for that since he would often call her a ‘frightened little mouse’ who wouldn’t lift a finger to hurt someone.
At times he would joke about it but it was harmless and she would never hold it against him, but now… what could she say now?
He was dead…
And it was her fault.
Chloe remained in her room with a brooding look as she laid against the wall of her bedroom, she sat cross legged on her own bed while thinking about her attitude towards her mother. She knew that her mother meant well but there were things that you just couldn’t talk about. To make it worse the voices had come back, leaving her at a state of unease just like before making her more on edge.Completely scaring the teen on what would happen next and who would suffer because of her. After all bad things had happened to Harry because she was close to him, so then who’s to say that it won’t affect her parents as well? And the last thing she wanted was to lose them because they got too close.Biting her lip she looked out the window and cringed when she saw her reflection on the glass. Why was she now scared of looking at anything that contained her reflection?
“Beats me” Chloe replied blandly causing her mother to give her a disapproving look in order to show Chloe that she was not happy with her response.“Chloe…” her mother said in a near scolding tone causing Chloe to groan loudly and put her head in her arms as they rested on the table.“Mum I couldn’t care less” Chloe muttered with disdain in her voice.“No doubt it’ll be the same all over again- hate, rumors or he runs away because of what the people say about me” Chloe said weakly, sadly this left her mother giving her a sad look.“I know darling, but may this time it’ll be different, he might-”“Mum I doubt that it ever will! Besides I have no time for romance nor do I want any friends, especially guys after what happened last time” Chloe stressed as she peeked her head up slightly so her mother could see her pained eyes. The older woman winced from the memory.“C
All three mothers at that moment could see that Chloe was on the verge of falling apart thanks to the pressure and it was getting to the point that it was hard to watch her break down in such a manner.Grateful that someone was willing to lend her an ear and ask her how she was.Even though she dared not hope that she would ever have someone to speak to.Just hearing that question had completely shocked Chloe to the point of tears, making both couples feel their hearts go out to her and her predicament. So instead of asking more questions for they could see that she was anything but alright had all came to an agreement to help the troubled family out.Even if other people who worked with them were not so keen to work with the parents of a suspect.Sure things had been tough during those years bu
At the same time the injured girl continued to bite her lip so she didn’t let them know that she was hurt.Instead she lifted her hand containing the notebook gingerly and placed it on her desk, ignoring their jabs against her.“Look at her! She’s so pathetic, how is she still here is beyond me” The first female said darkly.“I know right Jenny? How they even allowed her to study here even though no one wants her here is shocking” said the second female as she sat beside Jenny.“And she killed someone as well let’s not forget Agatha, if we’re not careful we’ll be next” the third one hissed coldly causing them to glare at Chloe who was still trying to keep to herself.Eventually the classroom started to fill up with students until it was time for everyone to begin their lesson. However to the students’ surprise their teacher who was a young brown haired male with cheerful blue eyes e
