2020-09-24 12:37:59DANIEL lost all of his original plans after what happened last night. The man's eyes were closed, his head still reverberating from the words made by one of the vampires whom he had almost captured alive.
"Daniel!" the call made him turn his head. "You don't want to change your clothes before you go home?"
Daniel stared at his clothes last night which were now covered with dried blood. Blood from vampires that he killed with his own two hands. He still remembered how his sharp nails pierced their chests and scooped up a vampire's heart that could only stare at him.
"No."
"You're not afraid ... Alin will suspect you?"
Daniel fell silent. He didn't want Alin to know, but how long will all this last? Until when did he have to hide his identity from that woman?
"I can think about that later."
Daniel got up, he had taken a step when Shinji returned to his voice. "Should I take you?"
"No need."
The man walked away. His memory was thrown back again by the events of last night filled with blood in all directions.
His arrival with Shinji could be said to be too late, because the humans were not breathing when they arrived. Daniel tried to control himself, staring at the lowly vampires with the eyes of a high-class predator. However, the vampires were not afraid and instead made fun of him.
"You have come to deliver lives!" the screaming was followed by a lunge, but Daniel dodged it quickly. The movement of a vampire was very fast, but it wouldn't be faster than a trained vampire like him.
"Who sent you here?" he asked in a calm tone.
Shinji had drawn his sword and was alert for the next attack.
"Who? Of course we are!" shouted the others.
There were more than ten vampires there, none of whom Daniel knew, and vice versa. They are not afraid of Daniel, even though, lower class vampires always feel scared when dealing with noble class vampires.
"I want the head," said one of the vampires in an arrogant tone.
Daniel smiled faintly. "My head?" The man laughed out loud. "Who do you think you are?"
"I've never felt this bad before," said another vampire. He flexed his fingers with a 'crutch' sound that is quite loud.
"We attack him and cut off his head!" exclaimed another and began to crash at Daniel.
"I want to eat the heart!" added another who then joined in attacking Daniel.
Daniel looked at the pale faces one by one, among all the vampires who were there, there was one vampire who seemed reluctant to voice a sentence to him.
The vampire was just silent, even when his friends started charging, he just kept quiet and made direct eye contact with Daniel.
"Daniel!" Shinji's cheers only Daniel replied with a cold smile.
In an instant, his eyes turned red, his fangs were sticking out, and his nails sharpened. Daniel went crazy under the red moonlight, thrusting his right hand into each other's vampires in turn and forcefully extracting their hearts.
"I'll take your words back!" he shouted accompanied by spattering blood all over the place. Not only were the hearts separate, but their heads as well as Daniel separated from the body mercilessly. "You want my head? I'd rather have your heads crushed! "
Shinji looked at everything with a pale face in horror. This is scarier than a horror film, because in fact, this event is scarier than anything else.
Shinji's gaze stopped at the only vampire who had only been watching. He was alert lest the vampire dash at him at lightning speed, but Daniel first lunged at the vampire with full force and made the bodies of both of them fly so that they hit one of the large tree trunks.
"Hurry up and say it! Who told you to come here or I cut your neck!"
The vampire chuckled, his eyes fixed on Daniel's red eyes.
"You ... are also a vampire?"
"Have you realized it since earlier?" asked Daniel as he tightened his grip.
"Carlos-sama told me, there are no other vampires in Japan besides us who were forcefully transformed using his blood."
"So Carlos told you to do all this?" asked Daniel sharply.
The vampire shook his head softly, then continued to say, "But there is a vampire class of nobility who is on vacation in Japan, that's what Carlos-sama explained to me. What is the vampire, you, sir?"
"What do you mean?" Daniel frowned, he didn't understand.
Why is this vampire carrying the name Carlos, if it's not Carlos who is the mastermind, then who? And why did this vampire smell like his cousin? Obviously he was changed to using Carlos's blood, but why couldn't he name Carlos as the mastermind behind everything?
"And Carlos-sama asked me, to convey his message to that noble vampire."
Daniel unchecked the vampire's neck. "What do you mean? What's your relationship with Carlos?"
The vampire smiled sadly. "Carlos-sama told me, if I find that noble vampire, 'Please ... save me,' is the message I have to convey to him."
The vampire jumped onto the branch and fled from there. Shinji ran over to Daniel, but Daniel just stayed there.
