The phone rang killing the silence in the pin-drop silent room. The ring tone produced a loud noise, making one to furrow their eyebrows in annoyance on being disturbed. But not for Neil. He had muted the external noise in his mind and was only listening to what his heart was saying. It was all that mattered.
