Chapter 2In the meantime, Adamma was lost in the bush. She did her best to find her way back home to no avail. The more she tried to find her way, the more she missed it. Initially she shouted on top of her voice but nobody heard her as there was nobody on the farm, not even the hunters! She became absolutely confounded and lonely, tired and fearful; besides, she was famished and there was no food to eat except the few oranges she had picked from the ground before she got lost. Her clothes were drenched by the dew that dropped for hours while she was meandering through the bush. At first, she was afraid of the new environment and experience in which she found herself but that only lasted for a few days after which she became used to the wilderness life.
