No one could’ve noticed my sudden disconcertion if I hadn’t tripped and fell flat on my face in the middle of the aisle. Everyone darted me a look, as I noticed Alison walked in front of me. She held my now throbbing hand, helping me get up, and as if to make things more embarrassing, I stumbled again when I slipped out of her grasp. All I could do was curse myself at this point for ruining Givenchy’s gown. It wasn’t my fault that the silky dress they gave me was too tight I could barely breathe and too long that I was stepping on it with my stilettos.
