  Daniel’s jeep approached the huge black gate of the hospital. From afar, he noticed the vans of the men from the army parked at the side of the hospital’s wall. His brows snapped together, as he drove into the hospital.Looking around, Daniel could tell that something was very odd, and he couldn’t shake off the cold feeling that crept through his bones.On alighting from his car, after parking it under the garage canopy, he turned to the huge building, and saw Bayo hurriedly walk out – looking very unkempt and bothered.Daniel further noticed that he had several bruises on his arms, upon walking closer to him.“What’s going on?” Daniel asked.Bayo spun around – his eyes widen on seeing Daniel, and he coupled this up with his quizzical question, “You are here?”

  The lights around them flashed, as Daniel held her in his arms, and Dolapo noticing that his cousin had passed out, crouched beside Daniel.“We need to get her out of here,” Dolapo stated.Daniel nodded, and instantly hoisted her up into his arms – just as he hoped – the army had arrived and were making their way through the cluster of cameras and people.Sighing, he muttered, “About time.”To clear the crowd, the army fired warning shots into the air – this caused the reporters to draw back.The crowd cleared away quickly as the army paved way for Daniel, with Derin in his arms, and Dolapo to get into Daniel’s car.
