Ludwina finally woke up an hour later, and she found her head resting on Andrea's chest, while the man himself slept leaning against the tree behind them. She almost shrieked in joy.

No wonder she slept so well!

Hmm ... She didn't want to wake him up.

She also did not want to leave the man's broad chest ...

Ohh... what perfume did he use? Why did he smell soooo good? Ludwina tried to guess. She had to hold back so hard not to sniff.

Ludwina closed her eyes again and pretended to go back to sleep. She would wait until Andrea woke up on his own...

Ahhh ... this felt so peaceful.

Ludwina couldn't remember ever feeling this peaceful and happy in her life. She did not want to go back to the hotel. She wanted to stay in this park forever if necessary!

When her mind was filled with various scenarios, suddenly, she heard footsteps coming closer to them. Ludwina was suspicious and opened one of her eyes, looking at the source of the sound.

She found a man who thought they were sleeping, sneaking up toward them. This guy seemed to have bad intentions. Ludwina immediately realized that he was after their laptops. She hurriedly jumped to her feet and shouted at the young man who was shocked to death.

"Hey! Why are you sneaking up like that? Do you want to steal our things, huh?!" she yelled as loudly as she could.

Suddenly the man ran away in a hurry. He was utterly shocked by the girl.

Andrea opened his eyes and woke up from his sleep. "What time is it?"

"It's almost 5 pm", Ludwina replied.

"Do you want to eat seafood at Makan Sutra?" he asked her.

Makan Sutra is an outdoor dining place containing many stalls of various famous foods on the Esplanade. The food there was famously delicious and cheap. If you watch Crazy Rich Asian movie, this was the place where they ate street food for dinner in an open-air dining area.

Andrea wasn't sure if Ludwina, who used to eat at fancy restaurants, was willing to eat there, but much to his surprise, the girl nodded excitedly.

"Yes, I want! I'm hungry."

Andrea pulled Ludwina up from the grass and hold her hand to walk toward the nearest bus stop. They took the bus and got off at the Esplanade to have dinner at Makan Sutra.

Andrea fell for Ludwina even more because she was not a spoiled princess at all. She was willing to eat anything and didn't mind walking long distances or getting on and off the bus. There was not the slightest sign that she wanted to be treated with luxury.

Her attitude was very humble. Only people who understood fashion could estimate the price of the Birkin laptop bag she was carrying, as well as the very expensive branded clothing she wore from head to toe.

Everything about her exuded charm, carefreeness, and natural elegance. She didn't look like one of those pretentious so-called rich brats.

"I had a really great day. Thank you for having me," said Ludwina.

"I also had a great day. I get my works done and I can also spend time with you," Andrea replied. "When are you going back to Jakarta?"

"I don't know yet ... I found a lot of inspiration here," said Ludwina with a shrug. "I'll decide later."

"During your stay here, we can meet whenever you want. We can do work together outside like today, or we can go out for dinner or drinks on weekends. I can also work outside the office for 3 days in a week if I want."

"Oh, all sounds good. Tomorrow, I want to work at Ikea ..." Ludwina answered, smiling mischievously, "I love pretending to have an office in one of their display rooms."

"Ikea Alexandra or Tampines?" Andrea didn't think Ludwina was weird at all, for wanting to work in Ikea display room. This made the girl super happy.

"The Tampines one is bigger," she chirped excitedly.

"Okay, then," Andrea nodded in agreement.

The next day Andrea kept his promise to accompany Ludwina looking for inspiration in Ikea. They ate Swedish meatballs for lunch in the Ikea cafeteria. They then returned to 'hang out' in the display room chosen by Ludwina. They were very happy.

The next day, Andrea had to work in the office, so Ludwina spent her time reading books in the Italian Restaurant inside the Raffles Hotel. She met Andrea after work at Chijmes to chat over dinner. Chijmes was a beautiful colonial building that used to function as a church and was now converted into a nice bar/restaurant.

And so, time flies when you were having fun. Ludwina suddenly realized she had stayed in Singapore for over two weeks. She was feeling content and didn't even think about going home.

Oh, how humans could change. Two years ago, Singapore bored her to death that she decided to stop traveling there.

Now, the city felt so vibrant and beautiful, full of all possibilities.

For her, now Singapore was filled with love.

Three days in Italy passed like a dream. Andrea and Ludwina enjoyed their visit to Rome, Firenze, which was also known as Florence, and Sienna. Everything showcased the charm of old cities from hundreds of years ago, which made them feel as though they had entered a time machine. Finally, the sad moment arrived when they had to pack and go home. After saying goodbye to Beth and Hans as well as Angela, Andrea and Ludwina drove back to Rome's airport and returned the rental car. From Rome, they flew to Amsterdam, and from there, they took the SQ back to Singapore.***"I've never gone home from vacation feeling this sad..." Andrea told Ludwina as he sat on his seat by the aisle."We'll go again sometime," Ludwina smiled reassuringly. "if you can take another leave. We'll make plans again. You've been an amazing travel mate.""Thank you. You too!"Ludwina was relieved that they managed to travel together without encountering any problems

"This afternoon, we'll be going to the small town of Pitigliano to shop for groceries, as well as have a look. We'll be going to Rome tomorrow, Firenze the next day, and we can go to Sienna on the last day," Ludwina spread the map on the table and pointed to several locations."Okay." Andrea agreed on whatever the girl suggested. He loved the fact that Ludwina knew Italy like the back of her hand.As they got out to the car, they saw a German couple in the apartment next door sitting, playing cards on their terraces while enjoying their wine. Both of them were probably in their 70s and looked very relaxed. All the way from Rome's airport to here, Ludwina and Andrea saw numerous camper vans containing retired couples who were on vacation like they were, which amazed Andrea, since it was rare for him to see elderly people in Asia going on vacation together like that."Hello, how are you? We're guests in the apartment next door. I'm Ludwina, and this is Andr

They woke up when the sun was up, and they both shyly made up the bed before taking turns to take a shower. Today's schedule was just to visit the Louvre Museum, and Ludwina had already booked tickets online, so they didn't have to queue for long. This was the fourth time Ludwina had visited the museum. But, it was the first time for Andrea. Ludwina helped explain what was in each section, so they didn't need to use a museum guide. In the Louvre, various prehistoric objects were stored, such as tools used by ancient humans, various mummies from Egypt, jewelry from the Egyptian and Roman times, ancient armor, and hundreds of legendary unique paintings.Andrea was surprised to find out that the infamous Monalisa painting was actually small in size, and that area was always crowded with hundreds of tourists. It was quite underwhelming.Ludwina and Andrea were more interested in seeing the other paintings, which were enormous and filled the display walls. Som

The sun rose outside their open window. In summer like this, it was nice to leave the window open and enjoy the warmth outside. Ludwina woke up because of the incoming light, and she felt her body was aching. When she looked around, the girl was shocked beyond belief. As it turned out, she was no longer sleeping on the bed, but on the floor, right next to Andrea, and even her head was lying on the man's chest."Oh, God...."Ludwina cursed her own sinful body. Last night, she fell out of bed because before she could sleep, she had been restless all night.Ugh, fortunately, there was Andrea underneath her when she fell. Otherwise, her body might have immediately hit the floor and had a lump on her head."I-I'm...sorry, I usually sleep like a princess, you know... I don't have a bad sleeping habit. I don't know why last night I fell out of bed..." she muttered apologetically.Ludwina complained, trying to sit up. 'Ouch... my feet and hands are

"What do you think about Paris so far?" Ludwina asked as they arrived at the Pullman hotel lobby."Graceful," Andrea said, not hiding his admiration. "My favorite city so far.""Good to hear that."'My favorite city, too,' thought Ludwina to herself. They went to the receptionist and immediately checked in. The staff checked the booking under Andrea's name on the list, and his expression abruptly changed."I am very sorry... I mistook your booking and prepared a deluxe room with a double bed." The staff shook his head, looking guilty. "Will that be alright with you?"Ludwina and Andrea looked at each other. The check-in staff incorrectly inputted the room they booked as a room with one large bed instead of two twin beds."Don't you have other rooms with twin beds?" Ludwina asked. The staff shook his head with an apologetic face."I am sorry, the last one was booked already, and the guests already checked in. Why don't we give yo

The next day Andrea kept his promise to carry Ludwina around the Rembrandtplein. It was some sort of plaza opposite the king's palace. It was quite large and filled with many tourists. They came in the summer, and there were lots of visitors flocking Amsterdam. The weather was quite friendly too, perfect for a stroll and sightsee.Ludwina told Andrea that if they came in spring, the chill of the wind would be quite annoying, although the scenery would be breathtaking with flowers. Many other tourists noticed the two when Andrea gave Ludwina a piggyback ride, but the girl just ignored it. She remembered that during the first month she met Andrea, almost every week, the young man carried her to the hospital for 'physiotherapy'."Ah... good times, ' She thought."You don't feel embarrassed being carried like this?" asked Andrea, looking back.Ludwina just laughed, "Why? Are you embarrassed? So, next time, don't lose the bet. Listen to what Ludw
