"Come on man, there is nothing else you can do. Let's get going," he murmured.

At that moment I felt out of sorts, I know I shouldn't because it was a one night stand. I bagged a nameless chick I will never see again. I should brush it off and keep going. It was an awesome one night stand I should be rejoicing in. But it didn't feel that way. Not at all.

As we walked out we met up with my chauffeur Wesley, he stood by the car waiting with the door open.

"Good morning Mr. Bernard," he greeted me.

I frowned a bit. I never liked him addressing me like that, he has known me since I was 2.

"It's Bernard, Wesley just Bernard" I groaned.

He chuckled, shaking his head.

"You are my employer and I must address you respectively. Where to Mr. Bernard, the office or home?" He grinned.

With a sigh, I climbed in after Josh, "To the office, Wesley."

I sat silent on the drive away from the campus. We took the main road out towards downtown where we were met up with deeper traffic. As it slowly went on out the corner of my eyes, I saw Josh texting on his phone. I was too caught up in my own thoughts to clearly listen to him. I only caught pieces of his words about something with letting Amanda know we were 15 minutes out.

My mind just could not get away from last night. I tried hard to remember, but only glimpses of it were visible. For all I know is that I was deeply moved by her.

*~*~*~*~*~*

***Stephanie's POV***

The distant rings from a cell phone woke me up practically making me jump in my sleep.

Ugh!!! My head felt heavy and I felt so disoriented.

My eyes opened slowly taking in the view of daylight shining through a bedroom that wasn't mine.

I could barely move my limbs the way they ached so bad. To my horror when I moved more I found that I was naked between the sheets.

I bolted upright at the sound of a male voice beside me. I turned to look and gasped. He quickly turned around to stare at me and my heart hammered in my chest. He was breathtaking. He was the guy from last night. And he was in his boxers. My eyes fell over his well-sculpted body before I shyly looked away.

Oh! God!

Did we?

Did I?

No! No! No! This can't be happening.

I panicked and jumped out of the bed as he turned his back on me.

I searched for my stuff. I yanked on my panties that were tossed in a corner, my bra that hung off of the side lamp, in a rush, I slid on my jeans then my blouse.

I found my cell on the floor next to the bed and I picked it up. I checked it. I had 6 voicemails, 15 missed calls and a whole mess of text messages from my sister Valerie and my friends Stacy and Dana.

Hey, where you at? You missed 1st period. -Dana

Stephie girl you forgot to pick me up~Stacy

I moaned. Crap!

I quickly shoved my phone in my pocket. I needed to leave. By this time the guy has finished his call. I could feel him staring at me as I frantically and nervously search for my car keys I prayed that I did not lose.

"Is this what you're looking for?" he asked

The smooth masculinity of his voice was so attractive and deep. I looked up to see him holding the keys out in his hand for me to take them.

To do that, I would have to get close.

I was so opting to tell him to throw them on the bed, but I couldn't work up the nerve to speak.

He stepped closer and I nervously watched him not able to move.

"I won't bite," he chuckled.

Gray gorgeous eyes sparkled as he looked down at me. I couldn't believe I slept with him. I bit my lip and slowly raised my hand to get my keys.

Our fingers gently touched and I felt a sudden jolt. In that moment it coursed through my body. It was a good feeling and I couldn't take my eyes off of him as he held my gaze. I felt this pull towards him and I got totally lost in that stare.

My eyes combed over his gorgeous face that could only belong to an Adonis. He had the absolute features of a man that promised sinful things. I wanted to sin.

With him.

His gaze hungrily lowered to my lips and then his head lowered. My heart slammed in my chest as his lips neared mine. It was a kiss he sought and I don't think I could deny him one because I wanted one just as bad. The moment we were about to kiss, the door flew open and a guy poked his head in.

"There you are man, we got to go Amanda has been blowing up my phone," he said.

I jumped out of the way and chose that moment to escape. I brushed past that other guy that smiles down at me as I walked quickly out the door.

"Why hello there," he said.

I ran out into daylight towards the parking lot and quickly jumped in my car. The moment I sat in the chair I shiver rolled over me.

I could feel the ache between my thighs, stronger now than ever. I let out a rush of air that had no idea I was holding onto.

I pulled out of there in haste.

My mind wondered as I drove to school. My night was a blur as I tried to piece together the night I spent with a complete stranger.

An older college guy.

Overwhelmed with it all by the time I got to school and parked the car all I could do was just sit there and try to take it all in. What I did. The effect he had on me.

The things that I felt.

I lowered my head to the steering wheel and I could feel the remorse, guilt and tears filling up my eyes.

What did I do?

***Bernard's POV***

Wesley drove the car into the underground parking garage of Chase Industries. I stepped out and thanked him, then turned away with my mind full blown on my thoughts towards the private elevator that leads to our offices.

The whole ride up my mind isn't even on the meeting or what was going on around me. I still couldn't shake this feeling I had.

The ding of the elevator broke me out of my thoughts and I walked out into the reception area where I stopped in front of Gladys, my Secretary.

"Good morning Mr. Bernard Chase" she smiled at me.

"Good morning Gladys, any messages?" I asked, looking at the pile of envelopes in the mail inbox.

"Oh yes, sir. Mr. Barry left a message about scheduling a golfing match with Orwald and Sons, CEO Gordon Whitmeyer. And Miss Jane called... Again... For the 5th time," she looked down nervously.

I nodded, trying not to show my irritation.

Jane Chatfield... How do I explain this?...... she is my on again, off again kind of girlfriend. Can I get by explaining that it's complicated I mean, that's my status on Facebook so I will stick with it? She is very beautiful and rich. We walked in and headed straight to the family planning aisle. I watched her slow down and look at the full array of Condoms and lubes on the shelf. The way her cheeks flushed a bit, I could tell this was all new to her. I thought she looked cute and adorable as she looked at them and slowly averted her gaze. Then slowly she looked up at me embarrassed as ever, I bit back a smile and enjoyed the way she began to fidget. We moved further down and my eyes landed on the last box of Plan B on the shelf and we just stood there staring at it. At the same time we reached for it and our fingers touched. Again, that sudden tingle zipped through my finger. I looked at her and right away I felt a sudden pull to her. As if an invisible net was pulling us together. All I could do was stare down into her beautiful face and get lost with the allure of her lips. ***Bernard's POV***My morning was like any other. I woke up to the humming tone of Constanza as she zipped in and out of the rooms down the hall and fresh aroma of coffee. "Hi Miss Celeste, I need a late pass," I smiled. She pulled out a pad from her desk and began to scribble on it. With a grin, she passed it over the counter. Before I could grab it, she pulled it back playfully. Confused, I looked up into her playful eyes."Where is that handsome uncle of yours?" She narrowed her eyes.I lowered my head with a smile I couldn't contain the urge to laugh."He is still in Amsterdam, but he sends his regards," I grinned"He better," she smirked pushing the paper forward. My uncle Kyle and Celeste had a thing for each other back in college that went cold after he got accepted an internship in Amsterdam to be a Biologist. Nevertheless, they still keep in touch mainly through me with little comebacks and cryptic messages of reuniting. Cute and funny, I would say.I walked out of the office into the halls and walked towards my 3rd-period class."STEPHANIE!" I heard my favorite voice in the world shout.
