“I am if you would listen! As I said before when you came into your powers your energy attracted the attention of many things. Including me when I got close enough when the burning became to painful I found your father a great grey wolf. Fighting other wolves to many he was out number, by the time I shifted they had already torn him to pieces. The pain started to fade I’m guessing it was you running away so I fallowed the burning coming and going until I came across a circle of women chanting and your mother was standing in the middle I shifted back and called to her. I knew her from are time among the angels. She looked me in the eye and shook her head and whispered protect her then plunged the blade into her own heart. The power the erupted from her was enough to kill the witches and through me into the next county.”

I was in disbelief he couldn’t be right my mother killed herself why would she do something like that? If Azrael was there why didn’t he help her despite what she said he could of helped her. Why would wolves and witches be working together?

“So you are saying they died because of me. That people came after me because of what I am and they died. Why would my mother do that to her self? You where there why didn’t you help her you could of helped her.”

I was sobbing now with my back to the wall I slide to the floor. He came to comfort me wrapping me in a hug I shoved him away and cradled my self in my knees.

“Solaris I couldn’t. The witches had some kind of barrier I couldn’t get pass and she asked me not to. If she hadn’t done what she did you would be dead. They would of found you and did who knows what it was the only way she could kill them all.”

“Why would witches and Wolves be working together?”

“To get you your power.”

“Was I the reason you got attacked the other day I heard you talking to Alistair.”

“I only told a few about you being here. Balthazar shouldn’t of had a clue you was here, he was working with witches I’m sure of it. He had a celestial blade and it disappeared after I killed him with it and I could smell them. Dose anyone know you are here?”

“ I don’t even know where here is remember you haven’t told me. But Reign knew she said I was somewhere in Montana. How the hell did I get all the way out here?”

“Wait your friend from school the one who communicated with you that day your head almost exploded?”

“ Yeah she said she had to do a location spell before she could do the communication spell.”

“You can’t speak to her any more Solaris there’s a good chance she knows what you are and is behind the attack on me.”

“I only told her I was a Lycian nothing about being an angel. She helped me, why would she want to hurt me?

“Has she given you anything or touch anything of yours?”

“Not that I can think of.”

“Good she could find you with a simple spell placed on an item.”

“She did handle my bracelet she was really interested in the symbols that are on it. Come to think of it I left so fast that day I forgot bracelet I don’t even remember taking it off. I was almost home when I realized I didn’t have it and went back to the school It was the first time I saw you.”

“She must of spelled you to forget then placed some kind of tracking magic on it where is it now.”

“ In the bedroom over there .”

He had my pouch in hand a second later. He offered a hand to help me off the floor we walked over to the dresser and he empty the contents carefully not to touch any of it.

“My parents gave them to me the night they died.”

He examined the locked twisting it back and forth opening it he read it out loud in a strange and enchanting language.

“Orondi ne ves Orenda, Aurois ne ves Neheno, Solar ne ves Datevo, Zuecha ei Von.”

“What did you just say?”

“I only read what is inscribed inside your locket. Sun of the Moon, Star of the Night, Light of the Darkness, Together are One. Do you not know the Divine language?”

“I never got a chance to know it. I never saw it before I got the locket.”

Next he picked up the ring a slight smile Crossed his face.

“Do you know what this is Little Wolf this stone is very precious there is no other like anywhere In the universe. It’s a god stone in it you can see the whole of space and time. You look even deeper you can see a prophecy One that is meant for us. I’ve been looking for this and here it’s been resting on your beautiful finger.”

“What’s it say the prophecy I mean?”

“We can go over it later let’s get the bracelet looked at.”

He looked at it for a long moment before he picked it up

“How many charms are on this normally?”

He seemed puzzled

“There should only be six why?”

“There is seven. Five are symbols of protection from different beliefs. The other two are different one Is the Divine Symbol for light and life and the other I don’t recognize.”

He went to touch it and got zapped by little blue lighting bolts. It hit the dresser we both just started at it. I tried to pick it up and nothing happened until I tried to pull the extra charm off.

“Fuck! What did she do to it? And how do we fix it Azrael we have to fix it.”

So was Reign trying to hurt me or was she protecting me I don’t want to jump to the wrong conclusion and lose the only Friend I have ever made.

“I will have someone I trust look at it but right now we need to leave we can’t stay here anymore.”

Where would we go I was pretty much along for the ride doesn’t look like I will be leaving his side anytime soon. I do feel like complete shit accusing him and trying to kill him.

“Azrael I’m sorry for how I tried to kill you. You didn’t deserve that, but there is still a lot we have to talk about.”

“Yes Little Wolf we will but first we need to get you far away from here I’ll have Alistair grab your things from your apartment. He will meet up with us later.”

“Okay where are we going.”

“You will see meet me out front in a few minutes.”

He left me in the bedroom I took my time going to the front door I didn’t have anything here just my little pouch no one has to say it I can’t bring the bracelet. I did grab some of his clothes who knew how long Alistair would be. I waited outside it was nice out I did like the forest around here I wish I could of ran with Aurora she would of loved it.

I was lost in my thoughts when Azrael came up behind me. His arms wrapped tightly around me kissed my neck before he turned me to face him. My face between his hands he kissed me again our lips touching his sweet taste filling my mouth.

“You ready Little Wolf hold on tight.”

He wrapped his arms around me once again I did the same. I could feel my feet lifting of the ground and here the flapping of wings, but I couldn’t see them. We drifted slowly in the air above the trees letting my eyes take in the seen around me. Trees everywhere no town no buildings no house we truly was in the middle of no where.

“Hang on and don’t let go we will be traveling fast.”

Fast was an understatement it felt like I was strapped to a comet. The world whistled passed in a blur. I couldn’t make out a single thing so I just buried my face in his chest and held on.
