The Silks closed in once again it seems they are triggered by my emotions some how. I had to calm down and talking about Azrael right now wasn’t the way to do it.

“Yes I did it was amazing at first but things changed very suddenly. I needed some space so I left. it’s still fresh and painful I just am not ready to talk about it, but you can help me with something else.”

Reign's gaze softened and she shook her head like she was shacking away a thought. I wondered what it could have been. Then I remembered she had been having dreams about Azrael at one point and they scared her.

“Okay Sol just know I’m here when you want to talk. What else can I help you with?”

“Well I met another witch she’s the one who helped me break the spell on Aurora while she was helping me she noticed another binding placed on me I learned later it was done by my mother and it was a really old kind of magic. So I wonder sence you are big on reading and learning supernatural stuff if you may know anything that might help me break it.”

She look a little excited a small smile spread across her face.

“ I couldn’t say for sure till we found out what kind of magic but I’m always up for a challenge. We would probably have better luck at my grams house it has everything we could possibly need to do any spell plus she knows everything I swear and she will love you I know it. We could go now if you want she’s not far and I can drive.”

The idea of meeting her grams actually made me a little nervous. I have never met a grandmother before never had one my self now I know why. Dose that make God my grandfather? Well that’s something to ponder.

“I would love to Reign I’ll met you at your car in a minute I won’t to have a quick conversation with Aurora.”

She jumped up and clapped her hand and practically skipped down the path. I had to do something about these Silks they can’t fallow me forever.

“So soulless bastards I need to leave! Tell your master I don’t appreciate being spied on I can take care of my self. NOW GO!”

They all backed away heading into the woods, expect one it distance itself far enough away I couldn’t see it but I could sense it still lurking. I could hit it with my light but that may result in the whole forest burning down. I would deal with it later and head to Reign’s car. It was an older car boxy looking with small fins coming off the back and had a faded pastel yellow color to it. Reign was resting on the hood waiting when I walked up.

“Nice car.”

“I know right it was my Grams it’s a 1961 Ford Fairlane isn’t she just the prettiest thing.”

“She definitely fits you.”

I smiled at her and we got in the car it took a few tries before it started. We sat in silence a few minutes before Reign started talking.

“So while you was gone I did a lot of research on Lycians and Angels. Didn’t find out to much more about the Lycains then we already talked about, but I did learn that it said Lycains used to be Angels.”

“Really well I’m not an Angel.”

“Yeah I figured but I thought it was a cool concept. Anyways I also found out that our earth goddess may have been an Angel or maybe something even older then Angels. It’s said that she became so sad and gave over her power to the earth that it got to be to much to take care of on her own. By giving up her power she created the first witches to help her protect life on earth.”

What a almost romantic notion to bad it was much more depressing what really happened.

“So that’s how you think witches came to be?”

“Well maybe I mean witches magic dose come from the earth well for the most part it dose there are some bad ones out there who get there power from darker things. Magic must stay balanced some how right just an unwritten rule one the universe.”

I just looked ahead as she went down a dirt drive a lake appeared through the trees on ride my side. The drive started heading up a slight hill to a large Victorian house that had it’s own tower, sloped roofs, and pillars around the porch. The house was white with intricate light blue trim covering the whole house.

“Wow Reign this house is beautiful.”

“Its been in my family sence the 1830s. Generations of witches lived here so much history and magic surrounds this place.”

She was right about the magic I could feel it like some kind of barrier around the house.

“I guess it makes sense you wanting to come here if there is anything that could help me it would be here thank you Reign."

“Don’t thank me yet you haven’t met my grams.”

We got out of the car and headed towards the house and a pit in my stomach start to form. The closer we got to the house the worse it got by time we hit the porch I was in pain.

“Solaris are you okay?”

My hand clenched my stomach and Aurora was howling like crazy in my head.

“What is this?”

I could feel my fangs protruding my eyes changing claws extending.

“Oh crap I forgot I’m so sorry there an exposer spell around the house it shows the true face of a person before they can enter. GRAM! I need your help.”

I could feel it passing as I pushed my way through it everything shifting back to normal. I stood to see an older women in front of me she had graying brown hair in a loose bun in top her head. She had light wrinkles around her brown eyes. The dress she wore was a cream colored long sleeve wrap maxi dress tide at the waist with a braided rope.

“This one is strong granddaughter where did you find her it takes a lot of strength to fight against my magic.”

“Gram please she’s a friend bring down the spell I would rather not have her in pain.”

I stood fighting it blocking it out it was getting easier to stand against it Aurora was still grumbling in my head.

“Granddaughter I will only take it down when I feel this girl is not here to harm us. We don’t need that beast inside her making an appearance.”

“You don’t have to worry about me. I came here looking for help.”

I tried to convince her.

“My help? Child witches tend to stay away from your kind all you do is use us and we die my granddaughter will not be one of them.”

By this point I could barely feel the pain Aurora still wasn’t very happy but I would be fine.

“Ma’am I promise I’m not here to hurt anyone I was just looking for some information about a spell my mother left on me.”

“Grams please I told her we could help.”

Reign wrapped her arms around her giving her the biggest puppy dog eyes.

“Fine but you don’t touch anything in my house and call me Sybil ma'am makes me sound like an old woman.”

We head into the house she directed us to a large wood block table covered in jars candles and herbs. I took a seat Reign sat next to me Sybil was at the head of the table.

“Give me your hands child I’ll see what I can see.”

She took both my hand I looked from her to Reign a little confused. Reign just nodded encouraging me to go along. I looked back to Sybil as she grasped my hands tighter. Her eyes rolled back in her head and her mouth started mumbling something.

“Child you need to let me in if I going to find this magic.”

I was putting complete trust into this women if I open myself up she will be able to access anything in my mind, things I wasn’t ready to face things I wasn’t ready to share.

“Little Wolf.”

Sybil mumbled and then every memory of Azrael I had popped in my head, All the times we made love our fights all the images from my past life.

“Mother.”

She uttered next same as before memories of my mother flashed in my head. My children hood, her death, moments she shared in my past life and then one I didn’t remember. My mother with some women and someone who looked like Professor Ziel. Together they held there hands over a baby . Blood dripped from each of their palms as the brown hair women chanted a blue glowing light left my mother and the Professor and swirled above the baby. The chanted become intense as the women started convalescing and fell to the floor.

“Wait for me.”

With out pause the picture changed and I was in the battle field watching Azrael fight Gabriel and Lucifer fight Michael. It all happened so fast Azrael took down Gabriel Lucifer was struggling with his fight with Michael. He called to Azrael for help and Azrael just walked away from him. I stood there as I watched Michael strike down Lucifer the shock had me stuck in place then Michael appeared in front of me with Azrael just steps behind. Michael ripped the baby from my arms taking his life. I fell to the ground Azrael came from behind throwing Michael to the side. He didn’t fight him Michael just walked away. In that moment I realized Azrael was working with Michael. I did the only thing I could do in hopes to destroy them both and releasing all the power I had. I had nothing left to fight for my child was dead Lucifer was gone my other half betrayed me. In that moment I gave my self to the earth he could spend eternity alone.

When I came back to reality I was trembling and crying how could he do this. He could wait for me till the end of time.

“Goddess.”

Sybil was standing her eyes huge as she stepped towards me I was lost in my own terminal to notice.

“Granddaughter this girl is our Goddess.”

I felt so drained I just wanted to sleep. I thought I would feel empowered stronger not like this.“Legion why do I feel this way.”“It’s a shock to your body Solaris everything you just went through the binds maybe be gone, but the power is still asleep with in you. You will need to work with your witches to awaken it.” Are you kidding all this for just another obstacle. I walked outside to meet Sybil with Legion in tow behind me.“Sybil.” She stood at the end of the porch looking out over the lake. The sun just starting to peek with oranges and picks while the moon still own the sky. I looked out over the yard to see Silks lingering in the wood lines. There presence still mad

Arriving at Sybil’s house Legion had us appear at the end of the drive. I was hesitant to let him go.“Solaris we have arrived.” His voice plain but he didn’t release me until I lifted my head from his chest. Why was I do enamored with him? Well he did keep my soul or essence not really sure what you would call it safe for millennia.“Solaris what are these witches doing?” I looked away from him to see hundreds of sprits facing the house from all centuries men and women. I looked back to Legion unwilling to step away from him.“Why are they all here? Sybil Reign’s grandmother is readying a spell to break the binds that hold my abilities.”

When we got to the campus the grounds were bare no one was around. The place still gave me the creeps and at night with the lights pointing towards it the medieval castle look took on an ominous feel. I was actually nervous about this I know I have fought supernaturals before but Professor Ziel was an angel. My fights with Azrael haven’t turned out the best, but I don’t think he would ever truly hurt me and held back. Hopefully it wouldn’t come to a fight. We walk through the corridors stone covered the main walls and dark wood beams covered the ceilings and archways. His classroom was at the end I waited outside as Reign prepared herself to head in. Worry played across her face her brow creased a bit in the middle then she blew out a long breath and planted a smile on her face. The lights was still on in his classroom hopefully he was still present. I waited a

I don’t know how long I cried, sobbed really. The tears never stop as I heaved on the floor letting me self feel everything for once. Until my body didn’t have anything left no more tears my body was slightly trembling I couldn’t stay this away forever. I shakenly pushed my self off the floor and header to the bathroom still covered in dirt and blood maybe I could wash way the agony. I turned the water on to it hottest setting I could stand and started scrubbing away. As the dirt wash away the marks left by my fight with Azrael become more prevalent. All the gashes and puncture wounds was half healed if I had drank from the vile Azrael left me they would have been all but gone, but I wanted to keep them as a reminder. The scars on my skin will never match the scars Azrael left on my heart and soul.
