31. Aurora

“I’m just trying to open a link between us I need you to let me in open your mind.”

I felt a weird tingle in my head it must be her trying to get in it was hard for me to let go everything in me telling me to fight it.

“That’s it Luna now think of your wolf what’s her name focus on it.”

I reached out trying to sense her like I did before pushing against the bands. Nothing happened I was alone at least last time it felt like I could push passed it now it’s like it blocked by solid wall.

“Okay Luna good now with everything you have try to push through it to her.”

I did I pictured my self pushing kicking digging visualizing anything I could imagine to get to her. Then I sensed her she was there weak scared alone I called to her in complete blackness.

“Solaris you can’t trust them. They are trying to kill me.”

“Aurora who? Who did this?”

“History.”

Was the last thing she said to me before the wall was back in place. And I was back in the kitchen with Ezra.

“Okay Luna I’m pretty sure you have been spelled but it’s unlike anything I have seen before it’s old magic. There something else to another kind of binding but it’s different from what’s blocking your wolf it’s been there a very long time. But we are going to focus on your wolf it didn’t feel like she was doing so hot. Now Same as before but this time I need some of your blood to allow me access.”

She took a few things from her bag a mat with some symbols a bowl and a bag with herbs and a small knife she held out her hand to me I put mine in hers. She turned it palm up and sliced with the knife, and squeezed it over the bowl my blood dipping into it. Then she repeated it with her own hand and started chanting again the bowl burst into flames. She then grabbed my hand she just cut connecting it with hers.

“My blood your blood our blood. Now repeat that with me until you can see us both with Aurora. I’m going to warn you this will probably hurt.”

I visioned us with Aurora her standing next to me and Ezra standing on her other side. But nothing happened Aurora just stood there like a statue. Ezra petted the top of Aurora’s head and grab my hand and motioned for me to get on Auroras back. Then she mouthed some word I couldn’t hear and Aurora started running leaving Ezra behind us in the dark as we headed to the only light I could see around us. Ezra then just started screaming. And pain shot through my hand. When I came to and opened my eyes She was squeezing my freshly cut hand so hard it hurt.

“Ezra! hey let go! hey you there! Hello! Ezra!”

I was yelling at her she was shacking the next thing I know Alistair is behind her and Azrael was pulling my hands free. Her shacking continued taking over her body Alistair look at her in complete horror but didn’t let her go. Azrael was grabbing my face trying to get my attention I couldn’t take my eyes off Ezra. Did I do that to her, what happened? Finally I looked at Azrael it seem to relieve him he picked me and placed me on lap.

“What the hell happened?”

He asked me anger coming out through his voice. Was he mad at me I didn’t do this.

“I don’t know she asked to do what I could to try and get ahold of Aurora so I did when I finally reached her It wasn’t good then we found her again I got on her back and rode to the light when I came too Ezra was gripping my hands so hard and she wouldn’t answer me then you guys came in.”

“But your okay right? What’s wrong with your wolf?”

“Azrael she said she’s dying and then the wall was back up. Then we tried again this time she did a spell and I was riding Aurora on her back into the light then woke up. What will happen to me if she dose die is that’s even possible? AZRAEL THAT CANT HAPPEN!”

I started sobbing into his chest I can’t loose the most important part of myself why would someone take her from me. What was the end game to kill me weaken me. And who’s are these people I can’t trust.

“Solaris?” Wait was that?

“Aurora is that you?"

I said I my head to no one but I got a response.

“Yes how did you get me out it's been dark for so long I didn’t think you ever was going to come get me.”

“Come get you what do you mean you was supposed to come back to me after Azrael told me everything. But you never did then a damn witch bound you. Who was it you keep saying you can trust them.”

“I don’t remember the last thing I remember is meeting Mr. Tall Dark and Handsome. Then black I was dying I was so weak I couldn’t get to you then a saw light and lost it then here I am now. Where the hell are we.”

Then I heard Azrael calling to me

“Little wolf you still with me right, talk to me.”

“Yes I’m here and so is Aurora.”

You could hear the pier joy in my voice.

“She’s back how? Dose she remember who spelled you and what happened to Ezra?”

“No she said she doesn’t remember anything just meeting you in the woods then blackness.”

“Okay Little Wolf I’m going to check on Ezra you too have some catching up to do.”

He stood up with me in his arms kissed me then placed me back on the chair. Of course my body reacted to him it dose with every look or touch. He winked at me the walked away.

“Soul? We are mated aren’t we.”

“Yes Aurora I was under the impression that you wanted me to do this on my own.”

“I wanted you to learn about your past I wasn’t part of it you needed to remember the plan was I would return the moment you did so we would of done the rest together. You are still not fully bonded I’m not connected to his Wolf.”

“Well I guess we will just have to connect you. I have been remembering things Aurora and it’s crazy it so much bigger then me Celestials, Angels Lucifer I still don’t know that complete story. We was punished by God. Witches and wolves are after us. I haven’t been able to shift. ”

“Well seems like I missed a lot, but we got the man right?”

“Really that’s what you got from that?”

I told her about everything that happened and everything that happened between me and Azrael. She couldn’t wait for her turn and to run, but I needed to check on Ezra. Alistair hasn’t left her side it’s been hours and she’s still out. The shacking stopped she looks calm now Azrael was outside somewhere. I started a fire and took a seat next to Alistair on the floor.

“I’m sorry if I had anything to do with this.”

His face was sad but it only lasted a moment and he nodded.

“She will be fine she gets weak after spells I can see her thoughts she sorting through Aurora’s memories trying to get a glimpse of who spelled you.”

She can do that I guess that spell really did link us. Great another person roaming around in my head.

“Oh and Luna a very agitated spirit has a message for you. To get your hooker ass home you have some talking to do. He threatened to go all poltergeist on my ass.”

“Micah! He’s still hanging around my apartment?”

“Well Alpha keeps all sprits and wrath’s and other things away. Plus this place is warded very well they can’t get threw.”

“Wraths what’s that?”

“The reaper looking creatures that suck the life from you and eat souls. Have you never seen them?”

“Yeah I just call them Silks. How’s it possible you see them.”

“I’m Lycian and Demon remember.”

“Yes of course a lots happened in such a short time it’s hard to keep up. Let me know when Ezra wakes I’m going to find Azrael.”

I walked out the back door expecting him to be out by the shed but he's not there it was all cleaned up nothing left of the deer hanging. I quickly scanned around not seeing him but I could smell him. He was close and he had shifted.

“Solaris let’s shift and go find him I want to meet his wolf.”

“He’s wolf’s names Anubis and can be very intimidating.”

“We are his mate we have no reason to fear him now shift please."

She was right and I wanted this I wanted to run explore the woods share this moment with Azrael. Usually after mating and marking a pair shift and spend the night in wolf form completing the rest of the bond and hunting we didn’t get that chance.
